Elastic network coupling converter set In the case of an elastic network coupling converter,
consisting of a main synchronous machine and a main asynchronous machine with Scherbius regulation,
it is advantageous if the main machines are large, those with hydrogen cooling
provided in order to reduce the friction losses in the machines and the heat dissipation
to improve. But if the Scherbius machine and the one for the excitation of this machine
the required frequency converters are mechanically coupled to the main machines,
difficulties arise with the shaft seal because the commutator machines,
d. H. the Scherbius machine and the frequency converter, with regard to their maintenance
cannot be included in the hydrogen cooling system of the main engines,
but have to be cooled with air. This different treatment in the cooling
therefore makes it appear expedient to drive the Scherbius machine separately,
which is easily possible, since its speed can be freely selected. With the frequency converter
however, synchronism with the main asynchronous machine is essential. For
the frequency converter is the direct coupling with the shaft train of the asynchronous machine
common, which is particularly common practice with the rule sets for elastic network coupling
is equivalent to. However, this arrangement causes difficulties
if
for the main engines hydrogen cooling is provided, which, as mentioned, at
large through line is appropriate. The carbon brushes of the frequency converter
namely must be accessible for the operator. One would use the frequency converter
Exclude from the hydrogen cooling system and cool with air, so the
Brush apparatus are well served, but the shaft of the asynchronous machine would have to
be sealed against gas loss. It has been proposed to use the frequency converter
to be arranged within a hood that encloses the two main engines and
Provide a chamber for the frequency converter within this hood, which is gas-tight
completed and after emptying the hydrogen for operating the brushes
can be opened. However, this particular gas chamber presents an undesirable complication
because they take extensive measures to empty the hydrogen or to fill it
requires, like closing or opening the gas-tight partition, flushing with a
Shielding gas, etc. An arrangement has been given which is similar to that previously mentioned
The aim is to avoid disadvantages by all required to regulate the main asynchronous machine
Commutator machines are driven externally. For this purpose, the asynchronous machine
coupled to an induction machine fed by a commutator frequency converter
will. It gives the excitation to the via a second commutator frequency converter
Commutator back machine continues. All the excitation is on the principle of current switching
carried out. Both frequency converters are driven externally.
This circuit has the disadvantage that two frequency converters
are needed.
mit Wasserstoffkühlung versehen sind und eine getrennte Scherbiusgruppe aufweisen;
The invention brings for the hydrogen-cooled network coupling converter
a much simpler solution in which only a single externally driven commutator frequency converter
is used. The subject of the invention is an elastic network coupling converter set,
consisting of a main asynchronous machine and a main synchronous machine that
are hydrogen-cooled and have a separate Scherbius group;
the characteristic of the invention is that for direct or indirect
Excitation of the Scherbius machine a single frequency converter is used, which of
a synchronous machine connected to the primary network of the main asynchronous machine
driven and by a synchronous machine directly driven by the main group
is excited, via which the active and reactive power of the main asynchronous machine is regulated
the main group including the attached synchronous machine in a common,
housing filled with hydrogen.
Kommutatorfrequenzumformer auskommt. The embodiment of the figure is intended to illustrate the invention.
Here is the scheme of a converter for the elastic coupling of two networks
different frequencies between which a power exchange should take place,
shown. To the three-phase network, which, for example, is an industrial network with 5o
Hz is, the asynchronous machine A is connected, while to the network UV, for example
is an I62 / 3periodiges railway network, the synchronous machine S is. For the scheme
the asynchronous machine A is used in a manner known per se, the Scherbius machine Va.
An auxiliary synchronous machine L is mechanically coupled to the main asynchronous machine A.
The auxiliary machine L is used to excite the frequency converter F, which in turn
is mechanically driven by a synchronous machine N connected to the three-phase network
connected. This synchronous machine N is at the same time as the exciter
E and the Scherbius machine Sh are mechanically coupled. Between the frequency converter
F and the excitation winding of the excitation machine E, which in principle is like a Scherbius machine
is built, there is an ohmic resistance that ensures proportionality and phase equality
between the voltage of the frequency converter and the excitation current of the exciter
cares. The latter has a strong counter compound winding, which is used for proportional and

shown in the figure, two mutually electrically perpendicular excitation windings

will. In it lies
a great advantage of this arrangement, which, as already mentioned, with a single
Commutator frequency converter gets by.
A circuit has become known in which also a synchronous machine
is coupled to the asynchronous machine and the frequency converter is synchronous to their
Network is powered. With the asynchronous machine, however, the hydrogen cooling is located there
not for discussion. In addition, there is an uncomfortable complication in this circuit.
It consists in the facilities that cover the ohmic and the inductive
Voltage drop in the variable frequency circuit; d. H. in the slip frequency
leading circuit of the excitation winding of the commutator rear machine, are to serve.
The voltage drops are covered by two voltage sources with which
the frequency converter is also excited. Serves as the one voltage source
a fixed transformer; it compensates for the ohmic voltage drop, which is constant
is. The other voltage source must perform a very difficult task; she should
Compensate for the inductive voltage drop that changes with the slip and
even changes direction when the synchronism is exceeded. To this end
a double induction controller is used, which depends on the slip
Rotary solenoids is controlled. However, this control is quite complicated because it is used for adjustment
the double induction regulator a large torque must be coped with, including hydraulic
or other strong organs are necessary. The adjustment of the double induction regulator
must follow the slip changes faithfully and quickly, otherwise the excitation of the commutator rear machine
incorrect in terms of size and phase and the active and reactive power of the asynchronous machine
deviates from the setpoint. In addition, there is a great risk that the control organ of the
Double induction regulator compared to the regulators, which the active or reactive power
the asynchronous machine via two controllable voltage components with which the frequency converter
is excited, should control, gets into oscillation. After all, there is a risk
that the commutator rear machine excites itself because in its excitation circuit
the voltage drops are compensated. Because of the disadvantages outlined, there is a
such an arrangement for network coupling converters is out of the question. The inventive
Arrangement avoids the complication and dangers of controllable devices
to compensate for voltage drops.
