Der Aufbau eines solchen Relais unter Verwendung der üblichen Elemente und Bauformen ist aber nicht ganz einfach, da die Ansprechgrenze dann bei etwa 5 bis roo/o des Betriebsnennstromes liegen muß. Die Bürde dieses Wandlers in Gestalt des Widerstandes der Relaiswicklung wird nun aber so gewählt, daß ein den Windungszahlen entsprechendes Übersetzungsverhältnis der Ströme nur im Bereich kleinster Lastströme, d. h. etwa bis zum Leerlaufstrom des vom Gleichrichter gespeisten Motors, vorliegt. Schon kurz oberhalb des Leerlaufstromes des Motors sind dieKerne des Gleichstromwandlers so weit gesättigt, daß die volle Wechselspannung seines Sekundärstromkreises gleichgerichtet der Relaiswicklung zugeführt wird und an dieser liegt. Eine weitere Steigerung des Gleichstromes in der Primärwicklung des Gleichstromwandlers ist dann für das Relais ohne Bedeutung.
