Process for the preparation of organic silicon compounds
The invention relates to a process for the production of organic silicon compounds.
Gemäß Erfindung werden sauerstoffhaltige Kohlenwasserstoffverbindungen
mit halogenfreien, wasserstoffhaltigen Siliciumverbindungen, die wenigstens eine
SiH-Bindung neben gegebenenfalls Si-Si-Bindungen enthalten, vorzugsweise Monosilan,
H Si O Si H (O C2 H,), erhalten.According to the invention, oxygen-containing hydrocarbon compounds are used
with halogen-free, hydrogen-containing silicon compounds, the at least one
SiH bonds in addition to optionally containing Si-Si bonds, preferably monosilane,
at elevated temperature causing the disintegration of the SiH bond, preferably at
about 100 to 60o °, and implemented at a pressure of up to one atmosphere. It was
found that it is especially when using z. B. ethers, esters, aldehydes,
Ketones or organic oxides succeed in silicon compounds, the Si H-
in addition to optionally containing Si-Si bonds, one or more of those contained therein
To replace hydrogen atoms with O R residues. So it was found that the reaction
between, for example, SiH4 and oxygen-containing hydrocarbons, such as diethyl ether,
Acetone or ethylene oxide, primarily to alkoxysilanes at temperatures around 450 ° C
of the type R O Si H3 lead. The reaction of SiH4 with diethyl ether gives gaseous,
highly volatile and higher boiling substances, which are used as organic silicon compounds
identified with Si H bonds. So were z. B. Products of type (H, C20) a
H Si O Si H (O C2 H,).
R verschiedene organische Reste bedeuten.
The reaction of Si H4 with ethylene oxide at around 450 ° C mainly leads to gaseous organosilicon compounds, from which the compounds H, C20S'H3 and also H7C3OSiH3 have been isolated. In addition to those mentioned, other silicon-containing compounds such. B. of the type (RO) 2SiH2, (RO) 3SiH and (R0) 4S "and also less volatile condensed substances. Here R can mean various organic residues Ways to obtain alkoxysilanes with Si-H bonds or without them, the alkoxysilanes with two or three hydrogen atoms directly bonded to silicon being compounds not previously known Compounds containing Si-O H or those with Si-O-Si chains which carry GR groups on the free vasenzenes of the silicon are reacted a total pressure of 511 mm. The pressure of the ethylene oxide was 300 mm, that of the SiH4 211 mm. The reaction time was about 1 hour.

The reaction of siloxene with diethyl ether or with acetone was quite successful
in accordance with the manner indicated in Examples 2 and 3 respectively. Example 5
Siloxene and ethyl acetate were placed in a reaction vessel fitted with a manometer
brought to conversion and the pressure of the ethyl acetate adjusted so that in the reaction vessel
set a pressure of at least 100 mm at normal temperature. The temperature
was increased up to 300 °. The reaction products obtained consisted mainly
from compounds which contained Si-O-C bonds, the one on oxygen
organic remainder consisted partly of C H3 partly of C2 HG groups.
