Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Glimmentladungsröhre mit ringförmiger Kathode, die eine relativ hohe Zündspannung (über etwa 300 V) aufweist, und bezweckt, die Konstanz der Zündspannung zu verbessern. Dazu ist es notwendig, daß die Entladung bei jeder Zündung von genau definierten Punkten der Kathode ausgeht und nicht von Punkten, deren Lage durch Zufälligkeiten gegeben ist. Dies wird gemäß der Erfindung dadurch erreicht, daß die der Anode zugewandte Seite der Kathode eine geringe Anzahl Spitzen aufweist. Es sollen ihrer höchstens etwa fünf sein; und damit ste11t sich die Röhre gemäß der Erfindung in Gegensatz zu einer bekanntgewordenen Glimmentladungsröhre mit guter Konstanz der Brennspannung, deren Kathode zwecks Vergrößerung ihrer Oberfläche eine große Anzahl von Vertiefungen aufweist.The invention relates to a glow discharge tube with a ring-shaped cathode, which has a relatively high ignition voltage (above approximately 300 V) and is intended to improve the constancy of the ignition voltage.
