H. LÜDECKE in BERLIN. Hufschuh aus Gummi.H. LÜDECKE in BERLIN. Rubber hoof shoe.
Patentirt im Deutschen Reiche vom ι I.October 1879 ab.Patented in the German Empire from October 1st, 1879.
The accompanying drawing shows a hoof shoe with different soles is to be used. 1 and 2 show the view and the section of a shod hoof in which between the rubber layers that form the sole, an ordinary horseshoe, only of a lesser thickness than usual, provided with studs, is inserted. 3 and 4 show the same shoeing *, but in such a way that the shoe is perforated and the air is allowed access to the hoof. In section Fig. 4, the iron is provided with ■ reinforcement lugs and screw holes, in which the studs can be screwed in. Fig. 5 shows the shoe in the lower Opinion. The openings in the iron serve to make the insoles in a manufacture of the shoe on the insole through the rubber in the inside of these iron openings is located, is held and so with the whole mass the sole is a piece forms. FIG. 6 shows a hoof shoe without an iron insert, made only of rubber. FIG. 8 shows a shoe with an inlaid iron, which on its front side one after has the above rag.
The shoe is attached to the hoof by means of a band of rubber, in which a steel spring is inserted. In order for this tape, however, according to the length The steel spring is used to expand and thereby establish a firm hold on the hoof separated . and a spiral spring attached therebetween, and both are with this spiral spring Parts of the iron band firmly connected.
In order to be able to put the shoe on the hoof comfortably, is on The outermost end of the band is firmly connected to the inner steel spring with an incision provided flat button, for the purpose of using a pair of pliers like her in Fig. 7 is shown to tighten the spring and hang it in the buttons.
Attaching strop to such a shoe is much better than how in other constructions.
