Description
B. einseitig wirkende Blenden odeT Kanäle, Ablenkprismen od. dgl.Device for focusing photographic devices The invention relates to a device for focusing photographic devices according to patent 871 997, in which a test object to be inserted into the beam path of the objective in the form of a slit or a diaphragm is divided into at least two longitudinal sections, and these sections are divided into the beam path as follows act that a partial image is displayed depending on the setting of the lens laterally on one, the other sub-image on the other side of the optical axis, but both partial images are approaching during adjustment of the lens to each other until in-focus of the lens, the partial images are in an escape. The means known in optics are available to those skilled in the art for deflecting the beam parts, e.g. B. unidirectional apertures or channels, deflecting prisms or the like.
In any case it can be achieved that the transition to focusing of the lens is thereby very easily and reliably noticeable that from the plate images a uniform, simple overall picture is created.
According to the invention, deflection bodies are used for each of the sections, each of which extends from one side into the light beam. Optical prisms are preferably used as deflection bodies. Focussing devices are already known in which a parallel shifting of prominent lines in the object is effected by optical deflection means when the setting is unsharp, whether it is that a convex lens system is arranged in the viewfinder image plane, on which a multitude of prismatic elements is applied, or that The refractive power of two prisms arranged in the image plane is used "to achieve the focusing of the device. In contrast to these devices, the prisms used as deflection bodies in the subject matter of the invention are arranged at a test object, which can be a gap and as a result of the prisms only comes in focusing the lens to the level of the test object as a continuous image for voting education.
Fig. i der Zeichnung zeigt in ganz schematischer Darstellung an einem Ausführungsbeispiel den wesentlichen Strahlengang in Richtung der optischen Achse; Fig. 2 ist eine Ansicht von oben, Fig. 3 eine Ansicht von unten zu Fig. i; Fig. 4 zeigt im Grundriß, wie die zwei Strahlenbündel auf das Objektiv treffen; Fig. 5 zeigt das strichförmige Projektionsbild bei richtiger Einstellung des Objektivs; Fig. 6 zeigt das Bild bei zu kurzer, Fig. 7 dasjenige bei zu weiter Einstellung des Objektivs.FIG. 1 of the drawing shows a very schematic representation of an exemplary embodiment of the essential beam path in the direction of the optical axis; Fig. 2 is a top view, Fig. 3 is a bottom view of Fig. I; Fig. 4 shows in plan how the two bundles of rays impinge on the objective; Fig. 5 shows the line-shaped projection image with the correct setting of the objective; FIG. 6 shows the image when the lens is set too short, and FIG. 7 shows that when the lens is set too far.
In plane e, in which the negative or the like to be projected is to be arranged, there is a diaphragm i with a relatively narrow gap 2, through which the light from a light shaft 4 passes from a wide gap 5 to the gap? in order to generate an image of the gap 2 in the projection plane e`. The outlines of the opening 5 and the gap 2 give the light beam emerging from gap: 2 the shape of a thin wedge, -. Between the light shaft 4 and the slit diaphragm of the gap 2 i per a glass prism 6 is arranged and 7 respectively so for each of the two sharing-stretch that the back. of the two prisms are directed towards opposite sides. The facing longitudinal edges of the prisms lie against one another, expediently in the optical axis.
The two prisms split the wedge of light below the gap 2 into two parts, one of which is deflected 8 " to the left and the other 81 to the right (FIG. I). They hit the upper surface of the objective 3 in this way , as indicated in FIG. 4 by the hatched surface pieces 8 and 81.
If the focus is correct, in the projection plane e` the gap 2 is shown in its entire length as a sharp image line 2 '(Fig. 5). If the focus is deviated from by changing the image distance, then projection images result as in Fi.g. 6 and 7 drawn schematically. It can be seen very clearly for the viewer when the two partial images according to FIG. 6 or 7 merge into the simple slit image: 2 ′ according to FIG. 5 . The same effect can also be achieved if the object distance or the lens location is changed.
The great brightness of the line image supports the perception even the smallest differences. It is not absolutely necessary that only one single flat bundle of light rays is decomposed. The gap 2 doesn't need that to have a simple, drawn shape, for example a slightly wider gap would also be with one or more thin black lines conceivable. If - several such If there are strokes, they can be different for the anterior and posterior halves of the bowl Have a distance from each other. The projection would then be that of measuring devices in general well-known arrangement of graduation and vernier scale and a very extraordinary one Sensitivity.
The (real or apparent) migration of the light streaks against each other. Nice Viewing the projection image with a magnifying glass increases the sensitivity the facility very much.
The sensitivity of the focusing device can be of considerable importance for the difficult adjustment of all such optical instruments in which the basically same task has to be solved, namely to clearly, precisely and quickly determine the conjugate plane to a certain plane. This application of the invention is of great economic importance because some such devices - e.g. B. Recording cameras with setting viewfinder or with a coupled rangefinder - are required in very large quantities.
It is not absolutely necessary to do this for focus adjustment used objectW is the actual working lens. Rather, could also be a special lens located in a substitute plane can be used. By switching on This can be done by mirrors or the like, similar to the known mirror # 1 cameras, easy to realize and allows the most comfortable focusing without the need to do this Negative needs to be taken out of your apparatus or moved in it. Even could for illuminating the gap: 2 separate light sources or two mirror images a light source.
