Abstract

The modular connector(20) for two modular pressure fluid components(21,22) comprises a joining block(24) with fluid connecting port(50) and mounting slides(25) on the sides of the fluid components. Tracks or guide rails(44) on the joining block engage with grooves(48) on the mounting slides to provide a slide fit secured by wedge or cam elements. The components may be positioned on either side, left or right handed, of the connector and adjoining sealing surfaces(26,28). The components and connector are clamped tightly together to form a face seal and an O ring seals(29) is used to form a fluid tight seal between the block and the fluid ports of connected components.

Claims (9)

1. Verbinder zum lösbaren Aneinanderbefestigen von zwei Druckfluid führenden Bauteilen (21, 22) in fluiddichter fester Zuordnung, mit einem Verbindungszwischenstück (24), das zwischen den beiden Bauteilen (21, 22) anordenbar ist, und einem Befestigungsschieber (25) an jedem Bauteil (21, 22), der mit der ihm zugekehrten Seite des Verbindungszwischenstückes (24) in eine fluiddichte Anlage bringbar ist, wobei das Ver­ bindungszwischenstück (24) ein T-förmiger Block aus einer hinteren Platte (31) und einer Befestigungsplatte (30) ist, die längs eines Randes einstückig mit der hinteren Platte (31) verbunden ist, ferner mit einer Keilzunge (54) an einer Seite des Befestigungsschiebers (25) und einem Keilschlitz (55) in einer seitlichen Fläche (56) der hinteren Platte (31) auf jeder Seite der Befestigungsplatte (30), wobei der Keilschlitz (55) sich gegenüberliegende, von der hinteren Platte (31) gebildete Enden aufweist, und die Keilzunge (54) in den Keilschlitz (55) einführbar ist.1.
