Der Rand kann dabei zum Beispiel eckig, gerundet oder rampenförmig ausgebildet sein. Am Lagerinnenring 1 ist der Impulsring 8 zum Beispiel mit Preßsitz auf den Lagerinnenring geschoben. Er weist einen Rand 9 auf, der als Schleuderscheibe bzw. Labyrinthdichtung das Fett am Austritt aus dem Lager hindert. Der Impulsring 8 erstreckt sich axial in den vom Sensorgehäuse 6 umgebenden Bereich, so daß er dem Sensor mit seinen impulsgebenden Ausnehmungen 10 gegenüberliegt.
