The innovation concerns a clamp for holding plant shoots, in particular grapevines or other berry fruit branches, consisting of a ring-like clamp part that holds the plant shoot and is open on one side, with arms that are angled outwards and with which the clamp can be attached to holding elements.

It is known to attach plant shoots, for example branches of grapevines or other berry fruit trees, to horizontally stretched wires of so-called wire systems. A wide variety of binding materials can be used for this purpose. However, it is also common to use clamps that can be clamped onto the wire and that grip the plant shoot when it is inserted into the clamp.

However, the known clamps have the disadvantage that they often cannot be clamped firmly and securely to the wire and that the plant shoot is difficult to insert into the clamp or can easily slip out of the clamp again if there is strong movement. This is particularly true if the plant is to be machine-processed and harvested.

The aim of the innovation is to create a clamp into which the plant shoot can be quickly inserted, which holds the inserted plant shoot securely and which can be quickly and securely attached to the wire system.

The task is solved in a clamp of the type mentioned at the beginning in that the ring-like clamp part is designed in the form of an isosceles triangle, whereby the side legs angled inwards at the middle part are bent inwards again near their adjacent ends and the clamp sections which are then bent outwards and can be bent apart form an acute-angled opening slot.

Advantageously, the adjacent ends of the angled legs are designed to overlap one another.

The inwardly bent section of a side leg is about half as large as the section connected to the middle part and the bend angle is advantageously about 130 to 140°.

According to an advantageous embodiment, the acute-angled opening slot has an opening angle of 60 to 70°.

According to a further advantageous embodiment, the inwardly angled side leg has a length that is in a ratio of three to four to the outwardly bent bracket section.

The clamp according to the innovation consists of a ring-like clamp part open on one side in the form of an isosceles triangle with a middle part 1 and inwardly angled side legs 2 and 3. The side legs 2 and 3 are

grip the wire from above. The length of the side legs 2 and 3 is slightly shorter than the length of the clamp sections 9 and 10. The ratio of the length of the side legs 2 and 3 to the length of the clamp sections 9 and 10 is advantageously three to four.

The plant shoot 13 can be inserted in the direction of the arrow through the acute-angled opening slot 14 into the clamp clamped onto the wire. Since the clamp sections 4 and 5 overlap slightly, the inserted plant shoot sits movably within the clamp, but cannot accidentally slip out again.
