Die Erfindung betrifft eine Einrichtung zum automatischen Ausblenden von Werbebeiträgen oder anderen unerwünschten Abschnitten aus laufenden Fernsehsendungen gemäß dem Oberbegriff aus Schutzanspruch 1.The invention relates to a device for automatically hiding advertising contributions or other undesirable sections from ongoing television broadcasts according to the preamble of claim 1.
Die von vielen Sendeanstalten in die laufenden Sendungen eingeschobenen Werbebeiträge werden von den meisten Zuschauern als störende Unterbrechung empfunden. Insbesondere bei der Aufzeichnung von Sendungen auf Videoband entsteht noch zusätzlich ein unnötiger Bandmehrverbrauch. Es sind Vorschläge bekannt, wo Mithilfe von Bildspeichern das Anfangsbild des Beitrags durch Vergleich erkannt werden soll (DE 41 06 246 Cl). Dieses System ist aber teuer und von der Sendeanstalt leicht zu unterlaufen indem einfach jeder Werbeblock mit einem anderen Anfangsbild begonnen wird. Ein weiterer Vorschlag (DE 42 05 762 Al) greift auf Änderungen im Ton- und Bildsignal zu, hierbei müssen jedoch aufwendige Verfahren wie Spektralanalysen angewendet werden. Der Nachteil besteht hier in der aufwendigen und damit teuren Analyseelektronik deren Arbeitsweise zudem bei entsprechender Gestaltung der Werbebeiträge durch die Sendeanstalt unterlaufen werden kann.The central problem here is the identification of undesirable scenes or contributions. Die Programmkanäle werden in einer Überwachungszenrale (1) auf Monitoren wiedergegeben. Beginnt oder endet nun auf einem Kanal ein Werbebeitrag, so wird vom Beobachter manuell ein Bedienelement der Eingabeschalteinheit (2) betätigt. Ein Rechner (3) setzt diese Information in ein Signal um, das die Zugehörigkeit zu einem bestimmten Kanal und den Status (Ausblenden / nicht Ausblenden) enthält und dann über ein Modem (4) dem Übertragungskanal zugeführt wird. Die Übertragung zu den Empfangseinheiten (7) kann dabei drahtgebunden (5) oder drahtlos (6) sein. Es wird jedenfalls ein vom Fernsehkanal unabhängiger Weg gewählt. Als Übertragungswege kommen u. A. die Rundsteuerungen der Energieversorgungsunternehmen, Cityrufsysteme, Funknetze und ähnliche Einrichtungen in Frage. Diese Übertragungsverfahren garantieren die Erreichbarkeit praktisch aller Teilnehmer und sind störsicher. In den Empfangseinheiten (7) werden die Steuersignale einem Decoder (8) zugeführt. Dieser stellt dann die Information der Steuereinheit (9) zur Verfugung, die schließlich die Ansteuerung des Videorecorders (10) vornimmt. Die Steuereinheit ordnet dabei die Information dem jeweils gewünschten (aufzunehmenden) Fernsehkanal zu und leitet den Steuerbefehl in geeigneter Weise (vergl. Unteranspruch 2 und 3) dem zu steuernden Videoaufzeichnungsgerät zu. Die Steuereinheit kaiin auch einen Ausgleich eines durch den Übertragungsweg bedingten Zeitversatzes (vergl.
