Die Erfindung betrifft eine Bahn aus wärmeisolierendem Material nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1. Bahnen aus wärmeisolierendem Material, welche beispielsweise zur Wärmeisolierung von Fußböden, Wänden und Rohren eingesetzt werden, sind in verschiedensten Ausführungsformen im Handel. Manche dieser Bahnen bestehen aus geschäumten Kunststoffen, andere aus verfilzten Kunststoffäden. Die letztgenannten Bahnen bezeichnet man als Vliese. Die zur Herstellung solcher Vliese verwendeten Kunststoffe gehören beispielsweise zur Gruppe der Polyester. Die Verbindung des Kunststoffvlieses 3 mit der Luftpolsterfolie 1 erfolgt durch Kleben, vorzugsweise mit Hilfe eines Schmelzklebers. Verstärkt wird dieser Effekt durch die aufgedampfte Aluminiumschicht, welche insbesondere den Wärmeverlust durch Abstrahlung verhindert.
