Die Erfindung betrifft ein textiles Gewebe mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Schutzanspruch 1.The invention relates to a textile fabric with the features of the preamble of claim 1.
It is known to produce textile fabrics from two or more intersecting thread systems made of natural and artificial fibers, in which the natural and artificial fibers are intimately mixed, i.e. the thread systems of the artificial and natural fibers are woven together in such a way that no layering between artificial and natural fibers is recognizable. With such mixed fabrics, an attempt is made to combine the advantages of natural and artificial fibers.
It is also not possible to subject such blended fabrics to thermal deformation, since such thermal deformation not only affects the synthetic fibers, but also the natural fibers in their
IB structure and properties. However, thermal deformation is only useful with regard to the synthetic fibers and is desirable with regard to the properties to be achieved in the fabric.
Up to now, the modification of mixed fabrics with a view to reducing wind permeability was only possible within certain limits.
The object of the invention is therefore to create a textile fabric that has a pleasant feel and is suitable for thermal deformation.
This object is achieved with the features of claim 1. Further advantages of the invention are the subject of the subclaims.
The textile fabric according to the invention is a double fabric, the upper layer of which is woven from natural fibers, in particular new wool, and the lower fabric of which consists of fibers of thermoplastically deformable materials.
When choosing the material, it has been shown that polyester is particularly advantageous for the base fabric, but all other thermoplastic, deformable plastics can also be used, such as polyamide. The two fabrics are connected to one another by bonding or unbonding. This creates a double fabric with two defined, separate fabric layers, each consisting of just one type of fiber. This makes it possible to maintain the pleasant and natural feel of natural fibers, such as new wool, on one side and to thermally treat the layer of artificial fibers in order to change the structure of the artificial fibers.
During production, polyester filaments are advantageously slightly twisted behind the extrusion nozzle, which gives them a protective twist. It has been shown that it is advantageous to provide the filaments of the warp threads of the substructure with twist and the filaments of the weft threads of the substructure without twist.
Eine kombinierte mechanische und thermische bzw. rein thermische Behandlung des Materials istAfter the double fabric has been produced, it can be washed and decanted. Then, thermal and mechanical processing of the base fabric is possible. Surprisingly, it has been shown that the wind permeability of the double fabric can be greatly reduced by the thermal and mechanical treatment of the base fabric, by a factor of 4 to 10, compared to the state of the double fabric after finishing and decanting. In one specific case, the wind permeability could be reduced by a factor of 6. A combined mechanical and thermal or purely thermal treatment of the material is
This allows the base fabric made of artificial fibers to be changed in such a way that a film-like structure similar to a semi-permeable membrane is created. This membrane makes it possible to create a fabric that has significantly reduced wind permeability compared to conventional fabrics while at the same time retaining the natural and pleasant feel of a fabric made of natural fibers. The pleasant properties of new wool, for example, can be retained in this way.
The double fabric according to the invention can be produced, for example, on a single-beam weaving machine. However, other weaving machines are also suitable for production. The fabric can be woven in plain weave or cloth weave or in twill weave. An under-warp and/or under-weft construction is possible.
Es zeigt:The invention is illustrated in the drawing using a preferred embodiment. It shows:

Fig. 1 zeigt das erfindungsgemäße Doppelgewebe (1). Die Anbindung (6) bzw. die Abbindung (7) können als natürli-Fig. 1 shows the double fabric (1) according to the invention. An upper fabric (2) consists of natural fibers, such as new wool or fiber mixtures of natural and other fibers. The upper fabric consists of warp and weft threads, whereby only the warp threads (4) are shown in Figs. 1 and 2. A lower fabric (3) also consists of warp and weft threads, whereby here too only the warp threads (5) are shown in Figs. 1 and 2. The warp threads (5) of the lower fabric (3) consist of filaments (8) which have a protective twist. The upper fabric (2) and the lower fabric (3) are connected by a weft thread (6) which creates a connection (Fig. 1) or by a weft thread (7) which creates a binding. The binding (6) or the binding (7) can be natural

However, it is also possible to connect the upper fabric (2) and the lower fabric (3) with one another using a binding warp (not shown) or a binding weft (also not shown).
The warp and weft threads (5;6) of the base fabric (3) are thermally deformed in such a way that the warp and weft threads (5;6) form a firm bond (9) with one another, whereby the base fabric (3) acquires the properties of a film or a semi-permeable membrane. As a result, the fabric according to the invention is largely windproof, since the threads (5,6) of the base fabric (3) form a firm bond with one another over the surface through thermal deformation and the number and size of fabric pores can be kept small.
