Anlagen, z. B. der Telekommunikationstechnik werden in Baugruppenträgern angeordnet, die gegen äußere Störbeeinflussungen als Faradaysche Käfige ausgebildet sind. Zur elektrischen Verbindung mehrerer Baugruppenträger untereinander und/oder mehrerer Gehäusemodule werden geschirmte Kabel verwendet. Das Schirmgeflecht dieser Kabel ist bei dessen Heraus- oder Hereinführen aus bzw. in einen Faradayschen Käfig mit dessen die Masse führenden Teilen zu verbinden.Systems, e.g. in telecommunications technology, are arranged in subracks that are designed as Faraday cages to protect against external interference. Ein Kabel mit Schintigeflecht besteht aus einer Anzahl von Kabelleitern 1, die vom Schirmgeflecht 2 umhüllt sind und dem Kabelmantel 3. Um das Schirmgeflecht 2 eines solchen Kabels mit einer möglichst großen Fläche von Teilen eines Metallgehäuses von Baugruppenträgern in Kontakt zu bringen, insbesondere für Kabel, über die Bus-Leitungen geführt werden, wird das Kabel an beiden Enden abgemantelt und mit einer zweigeteilten Hülse 4, bestückt. Der innere Teil 4 wird unter und der äußere Teil 5 über das Schirmgeflecht 2 geschoben. Durch Verformen des äußeren Teils 5 durch Verpressung wird eine nicht lösbare Verbindung und sichere Kontaktierung erzielt. Die sichere Kontaktierung wird durch entsprechende Materialwahl erreicht. Der innere Teil besteht vorzugsweise aus Kupfer mit verzinnter Oberfläche. Er ist zudem mehrfach eingeschnitten.
