Description;

The invention relates to a dice game with a playing surface and playing pieces.

Known dice games in which playing pieces are positioned on a playing surface have the problem that the position of the pieces on the playing surface can be changed by vibrations or tilting of the playing surface. It is therefore a prerequisite when playing such dice games that the playing surface is horizontal and vibration-free.

Furthermore, such dice games with a playing surface are often bulky, making them unsuitable for taking along on trips or for playing in confined spaces.

Small versions of some well-known dice games with playing surfaces are now available on the market for travel purposes, but due to their small size they are confusing and therefore difficult to play by several people.

It is therefore the object of the invention to create a novel, simple design for a dice game with a playing surface, as a result of which the dice game is insensitive to vibrations and inclinations of the playing surface, as well as being compact and easy to manufacture.

This object is achieved according to the invention by a dice game with a playing surface which has at least one recess and one hole for a playing figure, the cross-sectional area of which is essentially adapted to the recess and the hole.

The inventive design of the playing surface with depressions and drop-through holes means that, on the one hand, the playing surface does not have to be flat, since the playing pieces are either held in the depressions or fall through the drop-through hole into the space under the playing surface, and, on the other hand, that the game is insensitive to vibrations or changes in position.

Since the playing surface according to the invention only has depressions and holes marked by dice symbols, a versatile design of the playing surface is possible.

For example, the playing surface can be designed as part of the surface of any hollow body, inside which the game pieces and dice can be stored, so that the game is particularly suitable for on the go, as it can be designed to be very compact.

Because the hollow body can be designed in any way you like, the dice game is particularly suitable for preschool children, as the hollow body can have funny shapes, such as a mushroom or something similar, and the dice symbols can be symbols rather than numbers, which stimulates children's sense of recognition.

If the recesses are designed as plug holes, simple wooden dowels or other sticks can be used as playing pieces. For trough-shaped recesses, playing balls can be used.

1. Implementation example :

According to Fig. 1, in the first embodiment, the playing surface 13 is arranged on the top of a cuboid-shaped hollow body 10 made of wood or plastic. There are five plug holes 12 in the playing surface, which are marked with the numbers "1" to "5", as well as a through hole 11 with a larger diameter, which is marked with the number "6".

Of course, any other number assignment is also possible.

In this embodiment, the plug holes 12 and the through hole 13 are arranged in a circle around the center of the playing surface 13.

The top of the cuboid-shaped hollow body 10 can be folded up or removed to remove the playing figures.

Wooden or plastic sticks 14 can be used as playing pieces, the diameter of which is chosen so that they can be inserted into the plug holes 12. The sticks 14 then fall through the larger hole 11 into the interior of the hollow body 10.

Common wooden dowels, such as those used to assemble furniture, are also suitable as wooden pins.

In this embodiment, the plug holes and the through hole are marked with numbers 16 as dice symbols. Consequently, the game is played with a standard dice 15.

The following describes a possible variation of the dice game:

- each player receives five sticks and has one throw of the dice per round;

If the player rolls a number that indicates a slot, he puts one of his sticks into the corresponding slot;

- if there is already a stick in the corresponding hole, the player must take the stick, which increases the number of his sticks;

- if a player rolls a "6", his stick falls through the hole into the interior of the hollow body and he can roll again;

- The winner is the first person to run out of chopsticks, the loser is the last person to have chopsticks.

Of course, the game can also be played with two or more dice, whereby the number of holes must be increased accordingly (12 or 11) in order to cover all the numbers that can be rolled.

The recesses 22 are designed so that a game ball 24 fits into each recess. The playing surface 23 is formed by the surface of the game board 23, which can be made of wood, for example. The game balls 24 can also be made of wood.

In this embodiment, too, the five troughs 22 are identified by the numbers "1" to "5" ¹¹ and the through hole 21 by the number "6". In this embodiment, the troughs 22 and the through hole 21 are arranged in a row in the middle of the playing surface 23.

To collect the balls that have fallen through the hole 21, a collecting container can be formed on the underside of the game board 20, for example, whereby the required space on the underside is made possible by feet 27.

3. Example:

Fig. 3 shows a third embodiment in which the playing surface 33 provided with plug holes 32 or a through hole 31 is curved, which enables the possibility of designing the hollow body 30 as a mushroom.

This design is particularly suitable for children due to the appropriate color design. The hollow body can be designed as a red fly agaric, for example, with the plug holes 32 and the hole through which the fly agaric can be inserted 31 representing the dots of the fly agaric.

Sticks 34, which are shaped like a worm or caterpillar and can be inserted into the holes, can be used as playing pieces.

In this embodiment, the plug holes 32 are arranged in a circle around the center of the playing surface 33, with the through hole 31 being in the center.

To remove the game pieces, the underside of the mushroom handle can be designed as an opening, which can also be closable, so that a good storage option for the game pieces and the dice is provided.

Fig. 4 shows possible embodiments of the playing surface 33 and the dice. Since the third embodiment is particularly suitable for children, a dice 45 with geometric symbols 46 can be used instead of a number dice, so that the game can also be played by preschool children, where the recognition of symbols is trained. In this case, of course, the same symbols 46 are also attached to the plug holes 32 or to the through hole 31.
