The invention is based on the object - the scale profile of nuclear magnet measuring instruments
to influence the moving coil type and to achieve a lirearization of the scale.
It is known that the homogeneous field required for the lirearization in the air gap
to achieve that the air gap is enlarged towards the pole center of the core magnet
'will. This leads either to magnetic cores with an elliptical cross section or to
elliptically shaped conclusion: hollow cylinders. Such forms are manufacturing technology
Difficult to manufacture with the required tolerances. It is also known
the cylindrical core magnet with rectangular shields made of magnetically soft
Material to be occupied. The shields act as pole pieces and lead when
they have sufficient strength to homogenize the air gap field.
For core magnet measuring instruments of the moving coil type, for those for lirearization
of the course of the field, shields made of magnetic material are attached to the core magnet
are, according to the invention, the shields are designed so that they are in the direction
become too narrow on the magnetic axis. As a result of this measure does not bear
only the pole piece effect of the shields contribute to the homogenization of the field, but
also the enlargement of the air gap that occurs as a result of the recess in the shields
towards the magnetic axis. The mean value of the magnetic field strength
This measure in the vicinity of the magnetic over the length of the core magnet
The axis of the core magnet is smaller than the edge. This makes it possible to lirearize
to choose the thickness of the shields required by the scale than in that
Case of the use of rectangular shields. The shape of the platelets
can in a simple manner by a punching process with relatively great accuracy
be made. The use of the shields according to the invention has the advantage
that with otherwise the same dimensions of the measuring instrument, the diameter of the core magnet
larger can be chosen, since the thickness of the shields is practically about a third
the value that would be required if the shields were rectangular
Would have shape.
in schematischer Darstellung.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing:
i shows an embodiment in its essential parts for the invention
in a schematic representation. Here, i denotes the core magnet, the coaxial
is surrounded by the return path hollow cylinder 2. The moving coil is denoted by 3.
In the illustrated embodiment, according to the invention, are on the pole sides
the two plates q. and 5 attached.
beitragen. For the design of the plate q. and 5 are in Figs
illustrates two embodiments. In Fig.2 a plate is rectangular
Basic shape illustrated in which the recess is round, preferably circular
is trained. In. The embodiment shown in Fig. 3 is a recess
illustrated by triangular shape. With this shape of the plates it is possible
Use thin sheets as both the balance of the flow in the soft iron
as well as the enlargement of the air gap at the points of greatest induction for homogenization
contribute.
