In Anlagen,
Loudspeaker system with multiple condenser microphones. The invention
relates to a speakerphone system with multiple condenser microphones, in particular
systems in which two or more microphone units each have at least one condenser microphone
and a loudspeaker are provided, each microphone having an amplifier
connected to the speakers. Such systems allow speech communication
without hindering the participants by using a handset. In systems,
where the speech traffic between the participants with changing speech direction
without switching, a part of what is emitted by a loudspeaker always arrives
Sound energy to the microphone of the microphone unit in question is amplified and from
radiated from the speakers. From the radiated sound energy arrives in turn
a part to the microphones is amplified again and it can under certain conditions
self-excitation of the system, d. H. there is a whistle, an understanding
makes impossible. The greater the amplification, the sooner self-excitation occurs
the system is and the more microphone units, d. H. Feedback paths from the loudspeaker
connected to the microphone. Because some reinforcement is needed to
to maintain sufficient volume and usually as large a number of microphone units as possible
is to be connected, there are considerable difficulties for a stable
Operation of the plant. It is known to assign a control element to each microphone,
that allows all microphone channels to be leveled to the same transmission level.
These mostly as in the transmission circle
lying rheostats
trained control elements, however, cause additional damping. Although it
It was also known to couple the variable resistors with one another in such a way that the basic attenuation
remains constant when regulating, becomes a technical advance according to the invention
achieved in that the additional attenuation is completely avoided by special regulators.
According to the invention, this is done by a control element for controlling the sensitivity
of the microphone by changing the electrical bias. The control element consists
in this case it is useful from a potentiometer at which the bias voltage is tapped.
This results in significant advantages, since there are no adjustment difficulties with this regulation
additional basic attenuation may occur. The microphones always have certain things
Scatter in their sensitivity; the control element allows these spreads
to compensate, whereby also relatively insensitive microphones by accordingly
adjusted preload can be brought to the required transfer rate.
An embodiment of the invention with two call stations is on

ioo V gegen Masse befinden.
Each microphone unit has a condenser microphone with an associated
Impedance converter and control element in a common housing i and a loudspeaker
2, which can be set up separately or arranged on the same housing.
Microphone and loudspeaker are set up iso that the participant 3 comfortably
can speak and hear. The internal resistance of the condenser microphone 4 is through
a transformer 5 adapted to the characteristic impedance of the line 6 to the common
Amplifier 7 leads. The loudspeakers 2 of the system are located at the output of the amplifier 7
parallel. In the amplifier 7 there is a DC voltage source, which is the bias voltage
for the condenser microphones 4 supplies. One pole of the bias is connected to ground,
Likewise, one electrode of the condenser microphone over the jacket of the two-wire
shielded cable 6; the other pole of the preload is on the two wires of the
Cable 6, which therefore look at a DC voltage potential of, for example
ioo V against ground. The potentiometer 8 in the call station i allows
tap any part of this bias; the tapped partial voltage
is additionally screened through the capacitor 9 and io through the high resistance
the other electrode of the condenser microphone 4 is supplied. The capacitor ii prevents
a short circuit of the bias voltage across the primary winding of the transformer 5. A
additional load on the microphone as a generator from the bias voltage source
is avoided by the high resistance io. The leveling of the system can z.
B ,. done in such a way that each microphone and loudspeaker of a call station
are interconnected via the amplifier and the transmission rate of the microphone channel
is gradually increased to just before the point at which self-excitement sets in. These
The setting is made on all microphone units in the system.
zu verwenden. Eine Richtwirkung kann man durch Gruppenanordnung mehrerer Mikrophone;
To reduce acoustic feedback between loudspeakers
and microphone, it is advantageous to use microphones or microphone arrangements with directional effect
to use. A directional effect can be achieved by arranging several microphones in groups;
which in detail can be originally directed or directed. Owns
a call station several microphones ,. so becomes useful to every single microphone
assigned a control element which is suitable for changing the electrical pre-voltage.
Both microphones can then be brought to the same sensitivity; this
is particularly necessary for arrangements in which a compensation of the dated
Loudspeaker to the microphones reaching sound is sought. The sensitivity
the microphone arrangement adjusted in this way can then be carried out using the exemplary embodiment
be leveled in the manner described; for this purpose can for the microphone arrangement
another common control element can be provided for a call station.
