Description

Die Neuerung betrifft ein auffaltbares Plakatwandelement mit den im Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1 angegebenen Merkmalen.The innovation relates to a foldable billboard element with the features specified in the preamble of claim 1.

Ein derartiges Element ist aus einem Prospekt der Firma Dr. Karl Höhn GmbH "HOFA ein Deko-System von Höhn" bekannt. Elemente dieser Art werden als Informations- oder Werbeträger beispielsweise auf Messen oder Ausstellungen verwendet und lassen sich zu größeren Wänden in weitgehend beliebiger räumlicher Gestaltung zusammenstecken. Aus Gründen der Platzersparnis werden sie in flach zusammengefaltetem Zustand zum Einsatzort transportiert, weil sie dann nur die doppelte Wandstärke des Kartonmaterials beanspruchen, aus welchem sie hergestellt sind. Am Einsatzort werden sie dann zu Hohlkörpern aufgefaltet und in diesem Zustand dadurch fixiert, daß die beiden nach innen gefalteten Seitenstreifen aufeinanderzu klappen und sich komplementär angeordneten Kantenlaschen miteinander verzahnen. Der so gebildete Hohlkörper hat einen rechtreckigen Querschnitt, dessen durch die erwähnten Seitenstreifen gebildeten Kanten an den Rändern schmale Schlitze frei lassen, in welche Verbindungsstücke zum Zusammenstecken der einzelnen Elemente eingeschoben werden können.Such an element is known from a brochure from Dr. Karl Höhn GmbH entitled "HOFA, a decoration system from Höhn". Die von den nach innen ragenden Seitenstreifen abgewinkelten Endstreifen bilden mit Zunge und Zungenaufnahmeschlitz eine Verriegelungsanordnung für die Fläche an Fläche zusammenliegenden Seitenstreifen, welche bereits im zusammengefalteten Transportzustand eines Wandelementes teilweise in Eingriff miteinander stehen und beim Auffalten automatisch weiter in Eingriff kommen, bis sie bei völlig aufgefaltetem Element ihre Eingriffsendposition einnehmen. Dadurch werden die Seitenstreifen aus ihrer zunächst flach an den Hauptplatten anliegenden Position in ihre spitzwinklige Lage gezogen, die sie im aufgefalteten Zustand des Wandelementes einnehmen, ohne daß man sich lediglich auf die unsichere Rückfederwirkung des Knickfalzes verlassen müßte. Man kann jedoch auch die Zungen an beiden Enden eines Endstreifens und die Zungenaufnahmeschlitze an den beiden Enden des anderen Endstreifens vorsehen. Der in Fig. 1 dargestellte Rohling besteht aus zwei identischen Zuschnitten 2 mit jeweils einer rechteckigen Hauptplatte 4, die sich an gegenüberliegenden Seiten in je einen Seitenfalz 6 fortsetzt. Die Seitenfalze zweier Zuschnitte werden jeweils übereinander gelegt und miteinander verklebt, wie dies durch den Verbindungsfalz zwischen den beiden Zuschnitten in Fig. 1 gezeigt ist. Dabei schieben sich die Zungen 12 ganz in die Zungenaufnahmeschlitze 14 ein, wie dies Fig. 3b zeigt, und verriegeln sich mit ihren Verriegelungsschlitzen 26 hinter den Abschnitten 14a der Zungenaufnahmeschlitze 14, so daß der Auffaltzustand fixiert wird. Die Seitenstreifen 8 sind in diesem Zustand in einem spitzen Winkel gegen die Hauptplatten 4 nach innen gefaltet, so daß sich benachbart dem Seitenfalz eine winkelförmige Kante ergibt, deren Scheitel sich in den zusammenliegenden Endkanten der Endstreifen 10 fortsetzt. Anstelle eines spitzen Winkels könnten die Seitenstreifen jedoch auch einen rechten Winkel mit den Hauptplatten bilden, da die Seitenkanten der Endstreifen ja für die Führung des Einsteckteils bei der Verbindung mehrer Wandelemente zu einer größeren Wand sorgen. Ein etwas spitzer Winkel wird jedoch bevorzugt, da dieser ein leichteres Finden des Schlitzes 28 zum Einstecken der Verbindungsteile und somit ein einfacheres und schnelleres Zusammenbauen einer ganzen Wand ermöglicht.This state is illustrated in Fig. 3a. 1. A foldable billboard element with two rectangular main panels (4) which are connected to one another on two opposite sides by side folds (6) which are bent at right angles when unfolded, and which are provided on their two other sides with inwardly folded side strips (8) which, when unfolded, protrude inwards at an acute angle and engage with one another via tabs, characterized in that

that the side strips (8) are provided with angled end strips (10) which lie together with their surfaces facing each other,

that one of the end strips (10) has at least one tongue (12) running parallel to the edge direction of the element and the other, opposite the tongue, has a tongue receiving slot (14) running transversely to the edge direction and arranged with respect to the tongue in such a way that the tongue partially engages in the tongue receiving slot when the element is not yet unfolded and then fully engages in the tongue receiving slot when the element is unfolded,

and that the tongue (12) has a transverse lateral locking slot (26) in such a position that its edges hook with the edges of the tongue receiving slot (14) when the element is unfolded in the edge region (section 14a) of the tongue receiving slot (14).

2. Billboard element according to claim 1, characterized in that the tongue (12) is cut out further on one side (18) than on the other side (20) and that the locking slot (26) projects from the end of the further cut out side (18) at right angles towards the middle of the tongue.

6. Billboard element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the two end strips (10) of each main panel (4) have a tongue (12) in the region of one end and a tongue receiving slot (14) in the region of the other end.

7. Billboard element according to claim 6, characterized in that the two tongues (12) are arranged at one side fold ( 6 ) and the two tongue receiving slots (14) are arranged at the other side fold (6).

8. Billboard element according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the dimensions and distances of the tongues (12) and tongue receiving slots (14) from the edges are selected such that the element can be assembled from two identical blanks.
