Doppelbettcouchs bzw. Schlafsessel mit Ausklappmechanismen, bei denen in der Sitzfunktion das Rückenlehnkissen auf dem Sitzkissen aufliegt, erfordern die Wegnahme und das Beiseitelegen des Rückenlehnkissens. Das Rückenlehnkissen wird nach dem Ausklappen der beiden Sitzkissen wieder eingelegt und bildet somit einen Teil der Liegefläche. Dieser Vorgang ist aufwendig und birgt die Gefahr des Durchfallens des Rückenlehnkissens, da aufgrund des Verwandlungsprinzips der Sitzkissen nur wenig Auflagepunkte für das Rückenlehnkissen möglich sind.Double bed couches or armchairs with folding mechanisms, where the backrest cushion rests on the seat cushion when in the sitting function, require the backrest cushion to be removed and put aside.
