Bei Benutzung des Aufklebers wird das Silikonpapier abgezogen und der Aufkleber auf die Innenseite der Windschutzscheibe eines Kraftfahrzeuges aufgebracht. Aufkleber mit einem Trägermaterial aus Papier können regelmäßig nicht im Ganzen von der Windschutzscheibe enfernt werden, da diese aufgrund der geringen Reißfestigkeit des Papiers beim Abziehen regelmäßig zerreissen. Die Aufkleber mit einem Trägermaterial aus Kunststoff können vollständig von der Windschutzscheibe entfernt werden, sofern nicht zusätzliche Maßnahmen getroffen werden, wie z.B. das Einbringen von Perforationen und/oder die Zugabe von Stoffen zur gezielten Versprödung, die ein Einreißen der Aufkleber beim Abziehen von der Windschutzscheibe bewirken. Nachteilig ist bei allen bekannten Aufklebern, insbes. Der neuerungsgemäße Wertdruck-Aufkleber ist fälschungsgesichert, da dieser mittels eines Farbkopierers nicht gefälscht werden kann, denn die hochglänzende Prägefolie mit holographischen Mustern und/oder Mikro- und Gitterstrukturen wird aufgrund ihrer Eigenschaften auf der Kopie nur als schwarze Fläche oder nur in jeweils der bei der Kopieherstellung vorherrschenden Farbe, aber immer ohne den typischen Spektralfarbwechsel wiedergegeben. Darüber hinaus ist eine Kontrolle der Aufkleber von außen sowohl bei Tag als auch bei Nacht möglich, zumal durch die holographischen Strukturen der Prägefolie ein Lichtschein, z.B. von der Taschenlampe eines das Kraftfahrzeug kontrollierenden Polizisten,reflektiert, gebrochen und in Spektralfarben zerlegt wird, so daß auch bei Nacht erkennbar ist, daß der Aufkleber echt ist.
