Pipe shoe for a beacon stand Description

The utility model relates to a pipe shoe with a sleeve, the outer casing of which can be inserted into a rectangular receiving pocket of a beacon stand and the inner casing of which has clamping bars for holding a pipe.

Pipe shoes are necessary for a shaft tube to be inserted correctly into a beacon base. Pipe shoes are adapted to a round tube or a rectangular tube.

The purpose of the utility model is to provide an adaptable pipe shoe for all types of commercially available shaft pipes.

This task is solved according to the utility model in that four clamping bars are provided, the clamping surfaces of which are aligned on the sides of a square, offset by 90° from one another.

The utility model differs from the state of the art in the design of the sleeve. The sleeve can be pressed onto square tubes on the one hand and round tubes on the other.

Adaptation to square shaft tubes and round shaft tubes is ensured by the fact that the clamping surfaces are essentially flat surfaces.

A stable mounting, especially of rectangular shaft tubes, is ensured by the fact that each clamping surface has clamping ribs symmetrical to the center line.

Additional alignment in the circumferential direction is made possible by the fact that the outer casing of the sleeve has an octagonal cross-section, whereby the distance between opposite octagonal sides is equal to the inner dimension of the receiving pocket.

The retention in the receiving pocket is improved by the provision of clamping ribs on the outer surfaces of the sleeve.

An embodiment of the utility model is explained with reference to the drawing, which shows:

The pipe shoe has a sleeve 1 with an octagonal cross-section, so that eight regularly arranged outer surfaces 2 are produced. The distance between opposite octagonal sides and thus outer surfaces is essentially the same as the clear inner dimension of the receiving pocket. The outer surfaces 2 each have a pair of clamping ribs 4, which ensure a firm hold in the receiving pocket.

The sleeve 1 ends in a flange 5, which overlaps the edge of the receiving pocket and rests on the beacon base. This creates a stable edge finish.

Four clamping surfaces 6 are formed on the inner wall of the sleeve 1, each offset by 90°. Each clamping surface 6 has two clamping ribs 7. The clamping surfaces 6 are adapted to commercially available shaft tubes. In Fig. 2, the cross-section of a rectangular shaft tube 8 and a round shaft tube 9 is shown in dotted lines. It can be seen that the tube shoe has a firm fit on each shaft tube. The tube foot 1 is pressed onto a shaft tube 9 or 9. The shaft tube is then inserted together with the tube shoe into the receptacle of a beacon foot. Due to the octagonal outer cross-section of the sleeve 1, it is possible to insert it at different angles, so that the shaft tube is very adaptable.

Pipe shoe with a sleeve, the outer jacket of which can be inserted into a rectangular receiving pocket of a beacon stand and the inner jacket of which has clamping webs for holding a pipe, characterized in that four clamping webs are provided, the clamping surfaces of which (8) are aligned on the sides of a square, each offset by 90° from each other. 2. Pipe shoe according to claim 1, characterized in that the clamping surfaces (8) are substantially flat surfaces. 3. Pipe shoe according to claim 2, characterized in that each clamping surface (8) has clamping ribs (9) symmetrical to the center line. 4. Pipe shoe according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the outer casing of the sleeve (1) has an octagonal cross-section, wherein the distance between opposite octagonal sides is equal to the inner dimension of the receiving pocket. 5. Pipe shoe according to claim 4, characterized in that clamping ribs (4) are provided on the outer surfaces of the sleeve (1).
