The base head 26 is designed to complement the vertical profile 10 and is connected to it via screw fastenings which are accommodated in holes 28.

In Fig. 6 ist ein Fußausleger 30 in voller Länge dargestellt, so daß eine keilförmige Ausbildung und ein abgerundeter, vorderer Endbereich 13 erkennbar sind. Das abgerundete, vordere Ende 13 ist mit einer Gewindebohrung 19 zur Aufnahme eines höhenverstellbaren Tellerfußes oder von Rollen (nicht dargestellt) ausgebildet, so daß Bodenunebenheiten ausgeglichen werden können und ein Arbeitstisch verschoben oder verfahren werden kann. Ein Sockelelement 20, in dessen Ausnehmung 22 der Fußausleger 30 mit einem sokkelseitigen Ende 14 und einem Verbindungsblock 32 aufgenommen ist, weist einen Sockelverbinder 41 mit einem zweiten, identisch ausgebildeten Sockelelement 40 auf, die einen einteiligen und besonders stabilen Doppelstützenfuß 18 (siehe Fig. 2) bilden. Besonders vorteilhaft ist bei einem Doppelstützenfuß 18 mit lösbar verbundenen Sockelelementen 20, 40, daß die jeweiligen Verbindungsbereiche 24, 44 der zwei Sockelelemente 20, 40 bzw. der Sockelköpfe 26, 46, die zur Befestigung von Fußauslegern 30 vorgesehen sind, gleichzeitig zum Fixieren des Sockelverbinders 41 dienen. Claims

1. Support base for work tables,

with a vertical profile (10) as a support and a horizontally arranged foot bracket (30) connected to the vertical profile (10),
characterized in that a base element (20) is provided for connecting the vertical profile (10) and the foot bracket (30), which is arranged below the vertical profile (10),

that the base element (20) is designed for detachable reception and fastening of the foot extension (20) and has a recess (22) into which the foot extension (30) is inserted with a connecting block (32) and is also fastened in a replaceable manner in the use position of the work table.

characterized in that the foot extension (30) is fixed to the connecting block (32) in a self-centering and self-locking manner in the base element (30).

Support foot according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the connecting block (32) is arranged in an end area within the foot extension (30) and that the base element (20) has an easily accessible connecting area (24) which is designed to receive a fastening element (15) engaging the connecting block (32).

4. Column foot according to claim 3,

characterized in that the connecting block (32) is designed as a multiply bent component and has a fastening part (34) arranged parallel to the connecting area (24) of the base element (20), which is suitable for self-centering the foot extension (30) in the base element (20) and is provided with a counter bearing (17) for the fastening element (15).

Support foot according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the connecting block (32) is fastened to the foot extension (30) with at least one holding part (33) and one base part (36), that the holding part (33) is arranged almost vertically on the base-side end (14) of the foot extension (30) for self-locking and is bent towards the obliquely running fastening part (34), wherein the fastening part (34) and a support part (35) angled from the base part (36) are arranged in a roof shape.

Support foot according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the foot extension (30) is designed as a U-profile or double U-profile open on the bottom side and that an inner U-profile (3) and the connecting block (32) are fastened by welded connections in the outer U-profile (4).

Support foot according to claim 7 or 8, characterized in that the base element (20) has a base head (26) which is designed for a force-fitting connection to the vertical profile (10) and has in the area of a rear side (25) the connecting area (24) for the oblique screw fastening of the foot extension (30), the connecting area (24) being designed parallel to the fastening part (34) of the connecting block (32) of the foot extension (30).

10. Column foot according to claim 9,

characterized in that the base element (20) has a cross-section corresponding to the vertical profile (10) at least in the area of the base head (26) and that the recess (22) and an insertion opening on the front side (23) are designed almost complementarily to the U-profile of the base-side end (14) of the foot extension (30).

11. Support foot according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the vertical profile (10) and the base head (26) have a rectangular cross-section with beveled corner areas (12), that the base head (26) is provided with threaded holes (28) for fastening the vertical profile (10) and possibly other elements and that the base element (20) has inwardly inclined side surfaces below the base head (26).

12. Support base according to one of claims 5 to 11, characterized in that the foot extension (30) is provided with a rounded front end (13) which is designed to accommodate a height-adjustable and/or movable stand element, and that the foot extension (30) tapers in a wedge-like manner from the base-side end (14) to the front end (13).

13. Support foot according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the base element (20) is connected to a second base element (40) by means of a base connector (41) in a detachable manner or is firmly connected as a unit and that the base elements (20, 40) are connected in mirror image to

mutually facing rear sides (25,45).

14. Column foot according to claim 13,
characterized in that the base connector (41) is designed as a cross brace and has bevelled end regions (42,43) which rest on the connecting regions (24,44) of the base elements (20,40) and are firmly or detachably fastened to the respective fastening element (15).

15. Support foot according to claim 13 or 14, characterized in that an intermediate space (5) formed by two vertical profiles (10, 11) connected to the base connector (41) is covered with a panel and is designed as a cable space.

16. Support foot according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a small foot extension (31) is arranged on the rear side (25) of the base element (20), which forms a unit with the base element (20) or is detachably attached to the base element (20).

17. Support foot according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that each base element (20, 40) is designed as a cast part and each foot extension (30, 31) is designed as an aluminum die-cast part or as a steel deep-drawn part.
