Description
Bezeichnung: Serviette aus Manilafaser-Papier Description: Napkin made of Manila fibre paper
Beschreibung: Description :
The invention relates to a paper napkin made of fiber material. It is known to produce paper napkins from hygiene paper. This is particularly tissue, a fine paper that is only slightly creped. This known paper is so thin that it is not suitable for use in one layer. Therefore, depending on the requirements, the number of layers is multiplied.
In order to obtain a light-coloured paper, bleaching is carried out during the pulp production process after cooking. In recent years, a technological change has taken place in the field of bleaching, namely from traditional chlorine-based bleaching agents to environmentally friendly ones with the aim of minimising or even avoiding environmental pollution from bleaching waste water. Nevertheless, brightening bleaching remains a necessary process if a light-coloured paper is to be produced.
Außerdem soll ein Rohstoff zur Herstellung der ServietteThe invention is based on the object of creating a napkin made of light paper that does not have to be bleached. In addition, a raw material for producing the napkin
The raw material should also be suitable for the production of a single-ply napkin.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the paper napkin is made from a paper that has been obtained from the fiber of an annual plant. Annual plants are plant species that are harvested annually and, after chemical digestion, are used as fiber in paper production. These include straw, bamboo and bagasse in particular. The environmentally friendly production of the fiber from annual plants lies in the fact that an annually renewable raw material is processed.
In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fiber material consists of hemp fibers, in particular Manila fibers. Manila fibers, which are also called abaca fibers, can be obtained from the fiber strands of the leaf sheaths of fiber bananas. These fibers are naturally light and do not need to be bleached. They are very long and strong fibers, so that it is possible to produce a single-ply paper napkin from them according to the invention.
In a further embodiment of the invention, the mass per unit area of the paper can be less than 10 g/m 2 . Such a napkin is then made from an extremely fine and thin paper. The fineness of the material gives the paper a unique, textile-like character. Even if, according to a preferred embodiment of the invention, the fiber is unbleached, it is still possible to produce colored paper napkins from the fiber.
Das PapierThe environmental friendliness of the processed paper is not least due to the fact that a natural raw material has been processed that does not need to be bleached. The paper
On the other hand, the paper can also be used as recycled paper.
Es zeigenTwo embodiments of the invention are shown in the drawing.

20Both napkins are essentially round, single-ply paper napkins. They are made from the paper according to the invention. Of course, the napkins can be punched in any shape. In particular, the edges of the napkins can be designed in a wide variety of ways. 20
