Kontaktanordnung für Schaltgeräte
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kontaktanordnung für
Schaltgeräte, insbesondere solche finit hoher Schalt-
lii-iul=igkeit, z. B. Umrichter.
praktisch keine Feinwanderung zeigen. Erfindungs-
wandert.Contact arrangement for switching devices The invention relates to a contact arrangement for
Switching devices, especially those finitely high switching
lii-iul = igkeit, z. B. Inverter. With such switching
#eriiten it is necessary for reliable operation
manoeuvrable to make sure that the switching process is carried out
no arc occurs. This can be done by limiting
switching voltages and switching currents
and / or by ordering special
Extinguishing circles. But even with pedal-free switching
occur finite time lion clock destruction due to the
Aggravation on. This fine @ -, -, indifferent. ie
the transport of materials from one to the other
hontahtelehtro de. is caused by the smelting
zen of the contact material due to the high current
dense shortly before the separation of contacts and
by creating a fluid bridge between
the electrodes, which are
asymmetrical rupture. From many attempts
has shown that the cause of this asymmetrical
Tric tearing and thus the fine migration
especially the thermoelectric Thoinson effect in
Question comes.
The invention is based on this knowledge and
possible to establish contact arrangements that
show practically no fine migration. Inventive
- This is how this is achieved. that the elec-
the contact arrangement is designed in such a way that
that when switching as a result of Joule's heat
The resulting liquid bridge consists predominantly of the material of one electrode, namely the one after which the material migrates according to the Thomson effect.
I.The essence of the invention is briefly described below with reference to the drawing
explained. Fig. I shows schematically the two electrodes. -I (anode) and K
(Cathode) of a contact arrangement, not shown, with which the electrodes
at the interruption connecting liquid bridge B, which at the separation at the
hottest point tears. If the Thomson effect were not present, the temperature would
T run essentially in accordance with the dashed curve i in FIG
and tear the liquid bridge B at point I. Shifts as a result of the Thomson effect
the maximum of the temperature curve, z. B. with a negative Thomson coefficient
of the material in the bridge towards the anode, according to your temperature profile
according to curve 2 in Fig. 2, i. H. the bridge B breaks at the point II, so that the largest
Part of the contact material in the bridge to the cathode h migrates. According to the invention
it is now ensured that the liquid bridge is predominantly made of molten material
consists of one electrode, in the example shown from the material of the cathode
K, so that material of the electrode IL (cathode) can get to the anode --l,
but no material from the anode. -I to the cathode I.
B. Formiergas (750/0 N@ -I-
250%0 H"), H." Z,.
It has been shown that a contact arrangement according to the invention, for example
is possible by choosing suitable contact materials for the two electrodes,
d. H. so that the two electrodes are approximately the same shape from each other
consist of different material. Two such materials are, for example, copper
for the anode and silver for the cathode. To the oxide formation of the copper in oxygenated
To prevent atmosphere, it is expedient to use the contact arrangement in a manner known per se
Way to install in a hermetically sealed housing with reducing
or inert gas is filled as protective gas, e.g. B. Forming gas (750/0 N @ -I-
250% 0 H "), H." Z ,. The protective gas can also be filled with excess pressure, whereby
an additional increase in the flashover voltage between the electrodes is achieved
can be. -iNIan can change the contact arrangement to avoid oxidation, too
install in a vacuum. Another way to prevent copper OYy dation is
consists in adding a deoxidizer to the copper, e.g. B. coal, expediently
in amounts from 1 to 5 percent by weight, based on the total weight of the mixture
Copper-coal. As practical tests have shown, occurs with a contact arrangement
with copper as the anode and silver as the cathode, there is practically no fine migration.
Two other 1-materials according to the invention are silver for the
Anode and a gold-tin alloy, preferably with about 20 percent by weight
Tin based on the weight of the gold-tin alloy mixture for the cathode.
Since the gold-ziriri alloy is also used for oxidation in an oxygen-containing atmosphere
the above measures to prevent oxidation are appropriate.
