Die Erfindung betrifft eine Strumpiware mit sogenanntem Umschlagrand,
und sie besteht, darin, daß der nach innen oder außen eingeschlagene Rand mit seiner
An-fangsreihe nur stellenweise, also- in an sich beliebig weit voneinander entfernt
liegenden. Abständen, mit der inneren oder äußeren Warenseite mittels Handliaht
so verbunden ist, daß die vc#lle Elastizität der Ware uuch im Bereiche der Verbindungsstelle

Verfahren zur Herstellung von Strumpfwaren mit Uniechlagrand sind
#bekannt. Bei einer dieser bekannten Maßnahmen erfolgt die Verbindung- der Randanfangsreihe
mit der betreffenden Warensitelle da.durch, daß man nach fertiggearbeitetern Rand
dessen Anfangsreihe auf die Nadeelt der Wirk-oder Strickmasichine aufstößt, die
bei ihrem Weiterarbeiten automatisch Masche für Maische mit der Ware verbindet.
Bei dimera-Veffahren wird zwar die Elastizität der Ware nicht beeinflußt. Man kann
indes idiese Herstellungsart nicht auf allen für Umsclilagrandware in Fra.ge -kommenden
Maschinen anwenden. Es besteht daher der Nachteil einer Beschränkung in der Produktion.
Bei einem anderen, bekannten Verfahren wird der umgeschlagene Rand mit seiner 21,nfangsreihe
mittels Nähmaschine mit der Innen- older Außenseite der Ware in durchlaufender Naht
über die
ganze Warenbreite verfhunden. Diese Hersteillungs# art hat die großen
Nachteile, daß einerseits durch das durchlaufende Zusammennähen mit fder Maschine
über dasi ganze Warenstück hinweg eine Nahtwulst entsteht und daß andererseits,
dadurch die El:astizitäit des! Warenstückes außerordentlich schädlich vermindert
wird und infolgedeissen keine Qualitätsware entsteht.# Die Erfindung 'beseitigt
diese, Nachteile, da sie es, ermöglicht, ein-en Umschlagrand völltig unabhängig
vonder Art der der Fertigung der Strumpfware dienenden Maschine herzustelllen, und
zwar dadurch, daß die Verbindungder Anfangsreihe des umgeschlagenen Randes mit der
inneren oder äußeren Warenseite nur an einzelnen mehr oder weniger weit voneinander
entfernt gelegenen Stellerr durch Nähen mit der Hand bewirkt wird, wodurch die in
den Ma"schen begründete (hohe Elastizität der Ware inkeiner Weise beeinträchtigt
