Description
Carburetor for pressurized liquid fuels For preheating aluminothermic welds using gasoline, butane, propane, or other liquids Fuels one uses carburetors, in which the fuel is under pressure enters the externally heated carburetor body, from it through a nozzle as a gas At high speed and with courage, atmospheric air escapes and then through; a mixing tube flows into the welding mold to be heated. These procedures have led to different embodiments of the carburetor; z. B. was the carburetor inserted into the welding mold and heated by the flame that flies back from it. This is also known, as shown in Fig. R, on the mixing tube through a with its mouth directed against the current, the tube is the green part of the gas-air mixture to branch off and by burning it, the gas is used to heat the body. Eh-never However, such an embodiment has the disadvantage that the pipe resistance which the branched gas-air mixture has to overcome, the flame in the combustion chamber of the carburetor body, only burns weakly and the carburetor is not heated up enough becomes that the gasification of the fuel is insufficient. In addition, the drainage tube is set there is considerable resistance to the main flow of the gas-air mixture in the mixing tube, so that the blower effect is reduced and the preheating of the alumin: othermiischen Young sweat is impaired. These disadvantages are in accordance with the invention Carburettor switched off. The invention relates to a pressurized carburetor liquid fuels, the one non-burning, preferably for the heating of Welding points for ahminothermal or other welding gas-air flow supplies, with a carburetor heating through partial flow branching from the mixing tube for the fuel-air mixture and by deflecting and igniting this partial flow of the mixture in a chamber containing the last part of the fuel supply, through : the combination of the following construction and arrangement features is marked: a) the Arrangement of the gasifier, the fuel supply line to the burner around the mixing tube around, b) the arrangement of, holes fader breakthroughs in the Iffischrohrwand for the purpose of Removal of the partial flow of the mixture for the gasifier bending heating. due to overpressure at the telcurrent tapping point of the mixing tube compared to the operating pressure in the. the Carburetor combustion chamber.
The overpressure compared to the overpressure in the carburetor chamber is generated by means of a Hegeaiden in the area of the partial flow extraction area into the cross-section of the pipe protruding step. The gradual reduction of the. Inner diameter in ' the mixture flow direction is preferably achieved by assembling the Mixing tube made up of several oxes arranged one behind the other, preferably conically sharpened pipe sections, each of which is machined in the direction of flow Pipe section has a smaller diameter than the preceding one and wherein Drain holes or ring slots are arranged in the mixing tube wall in front of the respective stage are.
To explain the carburetor according to the invention and the still further claimed structural and arrangement features is shown in Fig. a as an example embodiment of the carburetor in cross section: shown. The carburetor body a, in the picture for example: a cylindrical pipe ring, with fuel supply line b, gas discharge line e and nozzle d can have any shape per se. It's built around the mixing tube, f and rests in fine with exhaust holes. in provided housing k, which is also arbitrary Have shape and are designed as a carburetor body by means of corresponding cavities can be. The Mischrohrie, f has its gradual reduction of the inside diameter, which is preferably done by assembling the mixing tube from several with the same axis pipe pieces arranged one behind the other takes place, each in the direction of flow downstream pipe section has a smaller diameter than the preceding auifweiist. Before each reduction of the inner diameter or before each pipe section, lower it Diameter are holes or ring slots g in the pipe wall; The pipe sections are sharpened conically in such a way that the distance between the pointed conical. Course of the facing, butting surfaces of the pipe pieces, f and the between. , ring slit formed away from the central pipe axis in the direction of flow of the main mixture flow increased. The pipe sections e, f are preferably on their sharpened conically fitting into one another with a small angle of inclination and axially displaceable relative to one another, so that they are either close-fitting or with variable ring-shaped separation slot and held by means of a screw can. Instead of two, according to the invention, several pipe sections can also be used one behind the other arrange as a mixing pipe, each line having a larger diameter than the has so that im. the described way several ring slots arise. In the Combustion chambers is optionally a guide body h with an annular channel arranged. The curve is the heating flame in the space vz after the carburetor body a distracted.
The effect of the carburetor according to the invention is as follows: The gasifier body is preheated from the outside by any heat source before it is started. After supplying liquid, pressurized fuel through line b, a gas stream flows out after evaporation in the gasifier body of the duct c and the nozzle @d. On the way into the pipe section, this entrains atmospheric air and mixes with it in the mixing pipes, f. The ring slot g, which only dictates a slightly sloping flow direction, becomes smaller due to the overpressure at the stagnation point Part of the gas-air mixture is stripped off without resistance and passed into the combustion cavities arranged around the mixing tube, where it is deflected by the curvature i : of the impact body h. This partial flow is ignited by a flame held against the exhaust gas holes m and then flushes, burning, around the Vergasex body, a, which is thereby heated. The exhaust gases escape through the exhaust holes m. By far the largest part of the generated. The gas-air mixture stream flows through the pipe section f with blower effect without being ignited by the gas burning in the room and emerges from the mouthpiece of the pipe section f as a non-burning gas-air mixture stream. This gas-air mixture flow is only used in the room to be heated, e.g. B. the casting mold to be preheated at the front to be aluminothermally welded rails or other workpieces.
If one wants to regulate the amount of the branched off gas-air mixture, so the individual pieces of pipe of the pipe can each, f against each other by means of the snout can be adjusted. If the slit is enlarged, a larger one occurs Amount of the gas-air mixture in the boiler room n of the combustion chamber k, and the #Combustion taking place there - will be more violent. This way you can get the heating Adjust the carburetor body a to the type of pulp used. petrol requires z. B. linen wider slot than betan, etc. The for .the carburetor heater The amount of mixture scraped off is relatively small compared to the main amount of the gas-Luift-Gemiech-flow leaving the mixing tube. Around the Combustion of the stripped gas-air mixture in space n of the combustion chamber k and to improve the heat supply to the carburetor body, the room can zz completely .or partially with ceramic or metallic objects with a large heating surface fill out. Ribs can also be arranged on the carburetor body. Particularly The arrangement of wire spirals or wire gauze in room n is advantageous.
The carburetor according to the invention is not only for: the pre-heating ia1uminothermal Workpieces to be welded are suitable, but can also be used as permanent Generation of gas-air mixtures which can be used for any purpose can serve.
