Die in Figur 1 dargestellte Halterung 1 dient zur Aufnahme und Fixierung des Displays 2 auf einer Leiterplatte, auf die später noch eingegangen werden soll. Die Basis 8 der Halterung 1 besitzt eine langgestreckte Rippe 9 sowie Klemmdome 10. Dabei können die Klemmdome 10 in an sich bekannter Weise in ihrer Längsachse verlaufende Ansätze dreieckförmigen Querschnitts aufweisen, die eine sichere Klemmverbindung bewirken. Innerhalb der Halterung 1 ist zwischen der Wandung 11 und der Rippe 9 das Display 2 eingebracht, dessen Kontaktfolie 13 im Bereich 23 umgebogen und in Richtung der Leiterplatte 16 geführt ist. Unterhalb des Displays 2 ist das Schaumstoffteil 18 angeordnet, das als Toleranzausgleich zwischen der Leiterplatte 16 und dem Gehäuse 21 dient. Der durch die Klemmdome 10 fixierte freie Endbereich der Kontaktfolie 13 wird in an sich bekannter Weise mit einem Kontaktkleber versehen, der durch einen zeitlich kurzen Stempeldruck unter Hitzeeinwirkung die elektrische Verbindung zwischen den auf der Kontaktfolie 13 angeordneten Kontaktstellen und den auf der Leiterplatte 16 vorgesehenen, korrespondierenden Kontakten bewirkt.
