Durch die bisherige Art der Befestigung ergibt sich eine punktförmig von oben wirkende Kraft, welche auf der Haut schmerzhafte Druckstellen verursacht. - Der Übergang vom bedeckenden Klebepflaster zur Haut ist durch einen großen Luftspalt gekennzeichnet; dadurch ist nur eine sehr eingeschränkte Haftung möglich. - Das Klebermaterial des bisher bekannten Magnetpflasters ist nicht hypoallergen und kann empfindliche Haut reizen und röten, sodaß die Behandlung abgebrochen werden muß. - Schließlich hat das Bariumferrit direkten Kontakt mit der Haut. Die Schweißdrüsen produzieren Salze und schwache Säuren.
