According to Figure 1, the blank consists of a rectangular, elongated sheet 1 made of a relatively stiff cardboard. The cutting lines 9, 10 can lead to small circular cutouts 13, which prevent the cardboard-like material from accidentally tearing further at the ends of the cutting lines. The cutting lines 9 and 10 of the front and rear strips 5 and 6 are arranged parallel to each other within a segment 11. When folded, the corresponding cutting lines are then perpendicular to each other. The orientation of the cutting lines changes from one segment 11 to the next, so that in the finished state the lower ends of the cutting lines are always on the inside of the album.
