Description

The cutting mechanism is located at the front of the lawn mower. The cut is carried out by a lawn mower with vertical axles (110 cm) with two blades rotating in opposite directions, which transport the mown grass in the middle. The two blades are driven by a cardan shaft. Both blade bars swing. The springs with counterweight transfer the weight of the front mower to the drive wheels, which achieves greater grip and stability. The ground clearance is 10 cm. The cutting height can be adjusted from 1 to 8 cm.

b) Grass intake

The grass is ejected from the mower in the middle of the blades on the side.

The blade bars press the clippings into the discharge nozzle located between the mower and the machine, inside which a turbine sucks in the grass and conveys it into the collection container.

In the collection container on the machine behind the driver's seat there is a movable distributor that is driven by an electric motor and ensures an even distribution of the grass in the container. The grass container has a capacity of 300 to 600 liters and is made of high-strength polyethylene. The cut grass is tipped out automatically or manually through the opening on the rear.

c) Chassis

The lawn mower has two front drive wheels and one rear wheel. Each side wheel has a hydrostatic drive. Each side wheel can be moved forwards and backwards on its own. The vehicle can turn on the spot. The two front wheels are operated with steering levers, one lever for the drive/stop pre-selection, two levers for the corresponding drives of the two front wheels. The lever for the drive/stop pre-selection allows the speed to be regulated, while the steering

levers (right and left wheels) the forward and reverse gears are switched independently on both wheels.

The rear wheel is a freely rotating impeller.

Since the turbine is located in the middle, cutting can be done on both the left and right edges of the mower.

Additional air suction holes in the mower box ensure perfect grass flow in wet conditions, even when there are leaves.

Sheet II shows the turbine. This is a low-lying (smooth-running) suction turbine located between the front wheels.

It has interchangeable curved throwing blades.

The rotating and opposing tearing shaft ensures an open channel (thus no material build-up in the channel).

The discharge arch swings, regardless of the hand position, thanks to the drive of an electric motor. The discharge arch is located in the collection container (see also Sheet I).

It should also be noted that the front drive wheels are each equipped with a hydraulic motor with a reduction gear to drive the basic device.

The wheels can be operated individually as required, both forwards and backwards. Both front wheels can be kept rotating in opposite directions at the same time, ie one forwards and one backwards. This creates a more favourable torque with a zero turning radius, which is also important for the side effect of causing as little damage to the lawn as possible. The rear wheel is a trailing pendulum wheel.
