Jedes Land hat seine eigenen ganz speziellen Steckverbindungen zum Anschluß von Telefonen und Zusatzgeräten historisch entwikkelt. In Deutschland hat sich das TAE-System für Neuinstallationen durchgesetzt. Durch die Öffnung des Marktes und die Vereinheitlichung der Anschlußbedingungen werden eine Vielzahl von Geräten angeboten, die mit fremden Steckern ausgerüstet sind und deshalb nicht ohne Umbau durch einen Fachmann verwendet werden können. Am häufigsten werden Geräte mit sogenannten Western- oder Modular-Steckern angeboten (USA-System). Dazu sind Adapter in der Form bekannt, daß ein TAE-Stecker mit einer Western-Buchse kombiniert wird (DE 89-3941 398), auch sind Tischsteckdosen bekannt, die neben TAE-Buchsen eine Western-Buchse enthalten, jedoch mit dem Nachteil, ausschließlich die USA-Belegung zu adaptieren. Allen analogen Telekommunikationssystemen ist gemeinsam, daß durch den Amtsanschluß nur die aktiven Leitungen a und b bereitgestellt werden und alle übrigen Anschlüsse wie Wecker 2 Erde oder Flash im Endgerät durch Schalthandlungen realisiert werden.Every country has historically developed its own very special plug connections for connecting telephones and additional devices. In den Figuren ist die Adapteranschlußdose in teilweiser Schnittdarstellung wiedergegeben. Auf dem Gehäuseboden 1 ist der TAE-Sockel 2 schraubenlos aufgeklipst, der eine modifizierte TAE-Leiterplatte mit Lötstiften 4 enthält, die durch einen Ausschnitt im Sockeloberteil 5 hindurch ragen und mit der Verbindungsleiterplatte 6 verlötet sind, auf der die Modular-Steckbuchsen 7, entsprechend den Anforderungen des Anwenders angeordnet sind. Der Ausschnitt in der TAE-Abdeckkappe 8 richtet sich nach der Zahl der bestückten Modular-Steckbuchsen, wobei bevorzugt die in Fig.4 bis 6 dargestellten Auschnittformen angewendet werden. Die dargestellten Telefonstecker 9, 10 und 11 sollen die Vielfalt der Ausgestaltung nach Anspruch 2, ohne Anspruch auf Vollständigkeit verdeutlichen.
