Mit dem Schutzschrank wird im angegebenen Anwendungsfal 1 erreicht, daß der Personal Computer staubgeschützt und geschützt vor anderen äußeren Einflüssen aufbewahrt werden kann. Wenn der Personal Computer nicht in Betrieb ist, kann er verschlossen aufbewahrt werden.

Dadurch, daß die Rückseite des Schutzschrankes nur 4 cm je Seite geschlossen ist. wird die Zufuhr von kühler Luft durch die Ventilatoren des Computer nicht behindert, weiterhin ermöglicht die große Öffnung an der Rückseite des Schutzschrankes problemlosen Anschluß der Stecker der Schnittstellen-Kabel und gerade Führung der Kabel in und aus dem Schrank ohne Stauchungen oder sonstige Beeinträchtigungen der Kabel und Stecker; die rückseitige öffnung des Schutzschrankes ist jedoch soweit geschlossen, daß der Computer nicht nach hinten herausrutschen kann. Die Anti-Rutsch-Streifen auf dem Schrankboden verhindern ein Verrutschen des Computers.
