Diese Aufgabe löst die Erfindung bei einer gattungsgemäßen Faltbox dadurch, daß in den Stirnwänden jeweils zumindest ein federbeaufschlagter Verriegelungsstab in einer Vertikalführung gelagert ist und daß die Verriegelungsstäbe durch den geschlossenen Deckel gegen Federwirkung in Verriegelungsstellung niedergedrückt sind und in Verriegelungsausnehmungen am Untenrahmen eingreifen. - Diese Maßnahmen der Erfindung haben zur Folge, daß durch das Schließen des Deckels gleichsam eine automatische Verriegelung der Stirnwände mit Hilfe der Verriegelungsstäbe erreicht wird. Folglich lassen sich die Stirnwände bei auseinandergefalteter Faltbox nicht länger eindrücken, so daß nunmehr eine diebstahlsichere Faltbox zur Verfügung steht. In den Figuren ist eine Faltbox beschrieben, die einen Boden 1 mit einem umlaufenden Untenrahmen 2, nach innen einfaltbare Längswände 3, nach innen einklappbare Stirnwände 4, einen Obenrahmen 5 und einen Deckel 6 aufweist. Die Längswände 3 sind unter Bildung jeweils eines Wandoberteils 7 und eines Wandunterteils 8 längsgeteilt. Die Wandoberteile 7 und Wandunterteile 8 sind über Scharniere 9 aneinander angelenkt. Die Wandunterteile 8 sind an dem Untenrahmen 2 über Scharniere 10 angelenkt. Die Wandoberteile 7, die Stirnwände 4 und der Deckel 6 sind über Scharniere 11 an dem Obenrahmen 5 angelenkt. Die Verriegelungsstäbe 12 weisen ein flaches oberes Stabende 15 auf, welches drehfest zwischen parellelen Führungsleisten 18 in den Stirnwänden 4 geführt ist. Ferner besitzen die Verriegelungsstäbe 12 einen U-förmigen Schaft 19 und ein unter Bildung einer Ringschulter 20 abgesetztes unteres Stabende 21. Zwischen der Ringschulter 20 und einem Führungssteg 22 für die Verriegelungsstäbe 12 in der Vertikalführung 13 ist eine das Stabende 21 umgebende Druckfeder 23 abgestützt. Zwischen dem flachen oberen Stabende 15 und dem Schaft 19 ist ein Bund 24 angeordnet, während die Vertikalführung 13 einen Anschlag 25 für den Bund 24 aufweist. Claims

Protection claims: 1. Folding box with

- a floor with a surrounding bottom frame,

- foldable longitudinal walls,

- foldable front walls,

- a top frame and

- a lid, wherein the longitudinal walls are divided lengthwise to form an upper wall part and a lower wall part,

- the upper and lower wall sections are hinged together,

- the wall bases are hinged to the bottom frame and

- the upper wall sections, the end walls and the cover are hinged to the upper frame,

characterized in that in each of the end walls (4) at least one spring-loaded locking rod (12) is mounted in a vertical guide (13) and that the locking rods (12) are pressed down into the locking position by the closed cover (6) against spring action and engage in locking recesses (14) on the lower frame (2).

2. Folding box according to claim 1, characterized in that the locking bars (12) in the starting position are each sunk with the upper bar end (15) in an opening (16) in the upper frame (5), and that the lid (6) has actuating cams (17) for the locking bars (12) and the actuating cams (17) penetrate into the openings (16) when the lid (6) is closed and press down the locking bars (12).

3. Folding box according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the locking rods (12) have a flat upper rod end (15) which is guided in a rotationally fixed manner between parallel guide strips (18) in the end walls (4).

Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the locking rods (12) have a shaft (19) with a shoulder, e.g. a lower rod end (21) offset to form an annular shoulder (20), and that a compression spring (23) surrounding the shaft or the rod end (21) is supported between the shoulder or annular shoulder (20) and a guide web (22) for the locking rods (12) in the vertical guide (13).

5. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that a collar (24) is arranged between the flat upper rod end (15) and the shaft (19) and the vertical guide (13) has a stop (25) for the collar (24).

6. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the vertical guides (13) are designed as closed guides at least on the outside of the end walls (4).

7. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the end walls (4) have one or more locking formations (27) on their lower edge, e.g. locking lugs, locking shoulders or the like, which form locking seats with locking formations (28), e.g. locking edges, locking recesses or the like on the lower frame (2) when the end walls (4) are in the closed position.

8. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 7 and independently thereof, characterized in that the lid (6) is designed as a longitudinally divided lid to form at least two lid plates (29, 30) which can be pushed together with mutual overlap by a predetermined amount and have interlocking guide grooves (31) and guide ribs (32) running in the sliding direction as well as elongated hole guides made of sliding heads (34) engaging behind elongated holes (33), the guide grooves (31) and sliding heads (34) being located in or on one lid plate (29) and the guide ribs (32) and elongated holes (33) being located on or in the other lid plate (30).

9. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that several sliding heads (34) are provided for each slotted hole guide and are connected to one another via guide webs (35) sliding in the slots (33).

10. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that one cover plate (29) has locking lugs (36) which, when the cover plates (29, 30) are pushed together, engage or lock into the elongated holes (33) of the other cover plate (30).

11. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the longitudinal wall (3) associated with the opened lid (6) has locking devices or latching devices for the lid in the open position.

12. Folding box according to one of claims 1 to 11 and independently thereof, characterized in that the upper wall parts (7) of the longitudinal walls (3) have one or more stabilizing strips (37) which overlap the lower wall parts (8) on the inside in the folding area when the longitudinal wall is unfolded, or vice versa.
