Holder for a set of angle screwdrivers

L-shaped angle screwdrivers, e.g. for hexagon socket screws, are often offered in sets of different sizes.

For clearly arranged presentation in self-service sales and later storage by the user, such sets are offered in bags made of plastic film, on a ring like a key ring, loosely lying in plastic-molded cassettes, or in holders in which the offset screwdriver with the long leg is inserted through holes in the holder, which is usually made of plastic.

A relatively soft plastic, such as polypropylene or polyethylene, is used for the device and the diameter of the holes is such that the angled screwdrivers are held in place by the clamping effect when inserted.

The arrangement is such that the short legs point in the same direction and the leg of the next larger angle screwdriver grips over the leg of the smaller angle screwdriver.

In this way, sets with 5, 6, 7 or 9 offset screwdrivers are grouped together in corresponding holders.

The disadvantage of this type of holder, which is in itself compact and durable, is that in order to be able to remove a smaller angle screwdriver, all subsequent larger angle screwdrivers must be turned into an angled position so that the smaller angle screwdriver can be pulled out of the holder.

This is not only cumbersome, but also because of the frequent turning and the impact of the sharp edges of the hexagon screws, the diameter of the hole is increased, so that the holding effect is lost over time.

The task is to develop a holder that is compact, can hold the set of angle screwdrivers in a clear and orderly manner, from which each angle screwdriver can be easily removed, which holds the angle screwdrivers securely in place, which is inexpensive to manufacture and which is suitable both for display on the self-service wall and for later permanent storage by the user.

The object is achieved according to the invention in such a way that the receiving device consists of the base body 1, in which the receiving holes 2 for the individual key sizes are formed, in the upper area of the base body there are slots 3 which run diagonally and extend from the holes and into which the short legs of the inserted angle screwdrivers are placed and whose width corresponds to the diameter of the associated angle screwdrivers.

This creates a position that prevents the offset screwdrivers from locking together due to the overlapping short legs.

A hinged lid 4, which is integrally formed onto the base body using a film hinge, grips over the inserted offset screwdrivers when closed and holds them in place. The lid is held onto the base body when closed using a snap connection 5.

For display on the self-service wall, a hanger 6 is integrally formed on the lid. Alternatively, the hanger 6 can also be manufactured separately from the base body and lid and inserted into corresponding locking holes in the lid or attached to the base body using other connecting devices.

Page -4- Holder for a set of offset screwdrivers Claims : Claim 1: Holding device, in particular for angle screwdrivers in L-shape, characterized in that it consists of a base body in which holes of different diameters are formed for inserting the angle screwdrivers with the long legs, and the base body has slanting slots in the upper area and extending from the holes, the width of which corresponds to the diameter of the associated angle screwdrivers and a hinged lid is formed integrally on the base body by means of a film hinge, which in the closed state reaches over the short legs of the inserted angle screwdrivers and holds them in place, and is in turn held in the closed state on the base body by means of a snap connection, that a hanger is formed integrally on the lid or the base body or a separately manufactured hanger is attached to the lid or the base body by means of a plug-in device or other connecting device.
