Reflective armband especially for cyclists and moped riders who do not have a flashing system on their vehicles to indicate the direction of travel, especially in the dark. There is currently no known aid for indicating the direction of travel that is equivalent to the reflective armband for cyclists and moped riders and also for riders of similar two-wheeled vehicles.

There are many traffic accidents involving cyclists and moped riders who indicate their intention to change direction by waving their arms, with serious and very serious consequences, because the direction indication by waving the arms is often not noticed, especially in the dark. This is because an unlit arm - especially in heavy traffic - is relatively inconspicuous with numerous light effects all around.

The invention is based on the task of remedying this deficiency and increasing road safety around bicycles and other low-powered two-wheelers and reducing the high number of accidents involving such vehicles.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the reflector bracelet is coated on the outside with reflective material or with reflectors in such a way that the arm of the cyclist or moped rider raised to indicate the direction to the left or right reflects the light from oncoming or following vehicles, as well as for all other road users in the vicinity, in a way that is clearly visible.

The advantage achieved with the invention is that the reflector bracelet increases road safety when using bicycles, mopeds and other low-powered two-wheelers - without indicators - because the driver clearly indicates his or her intention to turn right or left by waving the reflector bracelet. An embodiment of the invention is shown in the drawings Fig. I and II and is described in more detail below.
