The invention relates to a method for hammering inner cones
with relatively strong conical slopes. It is known that by means of a
Hammer machine and a conical mandrel an output body on this conical
Thorn is hammered. However, if the inner cone to be hammered exceeds a certain one
Slope, difficulties arise in the production of this cone,
that the workpiece tries to slide off this cone when hammering. Result from this
irregular inner surfaces and the impossibility of measuring the cone accordingly
to hammer the designated mandrel.
According to the invention, the starting workpiece with the mandrel is such
connected that it is during the hammering of the cone or cones from a counter cone
is being held.
weiteren konischen Teil 3.
In the drawing, the mandrel is shown with the starting workpiece.
The mandrel i has, for example, a conical part: 2 and one attached to it
further conical part 3. Corresponding to the conical parts 2, 3, the starting workpiece
be deformed by hammering. The cone i still has a cylindrical one
Part 5 and an auxiliary cone 6. The cone itself can through a corresponding mandrel bar
be held in place. The workpiece q. fits on the cylindrical surface
5 initially. The mandrel itself can be pushed in through the opening 7. That
The starting workpiece has a flange 8 on the outside, corresponding to the bore 7
and according to the deformation on the parts 2, 3 an approach g. Approach 8 and
Approach g are deformed in a hammering machine known per se so that the outer surface
runs along the line io after hammering.
Verformung statt.
i i des Ausgangswerkstückes.
According to the invention, the approach 8 is first hammered down so that
the material is deformed into the bore 7 and the workpiece q. first
rests firmly on the cone 6. There is none on part i i of the initial workpiece
Deformation instead. Only part g becomes when the workpiece continues through
by the hammering machine onto cone 3 and cone: 2 of the starting workpiece
hammered down. In that the bore 7 through the material of the starting workpiece
4 is hammered and thus the workpiece q. rests firmly against the mating cone 6 is
evasion of the workpiece q. when hammering on the cones 3, 2 no longer possible,
so that a perfect hammering result is achieved there. The inner surfaces of the
corresponding to the mandrel part 2, 3 hammered bores of the workpiece 4 then show
the advantages of non-cutting deformation, as they are known per se in hammering.
The loosening of the workpiece q. from the mandrel i is done by piercing the part
i i of the initial workpiece. The mandrel i can advantageously have an annular groove i2
own into which the steel runs out during piercing. The finished workpiece q. can
then deducted. Instead of the mating cone 6, the material of the starting workpiece
q. hammer, it is also possible, as shown in Fig. 2, a plate
13 to be provided by screwing i ¢ into part i i of the output component
is screwed in, so that this creates a solid abutment of the starting workpiece
q. results in the thorn.
