In the case of portable large clocks, especially alarm clocks, the winding keys are
mostly connected by thread to the winding shaft of the watch. The key will
so screwed onto the winding shaft in the direction in which the watch is
is raised. Screwing in and unscrewing the key brings both manufacturing
as well as during the repair substantial loss of time, since the key is often used several times
must be unscrewed and screwed in, apart from the sensitivity of the thread
at all.
The aim of the invention is to put on and remove the key
to accomplish with one hand movement, whereby after putting on the key
is locked at the same time. The winding shaft and the key are here instead of with
Thread with matching triangle or polygon, in the example with square
Mistake. A locking plate is placed on the key tube with a
Nose in a key hole on the side; is pressed in by a spring and
finds its locking in a groove. By pressing the locking plate with your finger
the nose is pushed back out of the groove and the key is free again
to take out.

The tension spring f is first pushed onto the tube in the key a
and stored in the groove 1z. The locking plate c is placed on it and likewise
stored in the groove. Now the spring f with its end hooko is in the incision d
hooked, whereupon the locking plate c with the nose automatically into the hole
g is pulled. In the groove h then has: the locking plate c and at the same time the
Nose e in the hole g its guide. The finished key can now be used
over the acute-angled hat! placed on the square of the winding shaft b. At the
Slipping over the cap i, the locking plate c with the nose e becomes resilient
pushed back and when reaching the groove k snaps into this .ein and is here
locked by the tension of the spring /. Thus, the clutch of the key is with
of the winding shaft and can differ from. do not solve it yourself. Should the key
removed, press the tab L of the locking plate with your finger,
whereby the nose is released from the nutk and: the key is removed
can.
