Die Erfindung betrifft ein Raumüberwachungsgerät, insbesondere ein Babyfon. Raumüberwachungsgeräte zur überwachung von Kleinkindern stellen sich im wesentlichen als in Steckdosen anbringbare Sender- Empfängerteile dar. Zur Erweiterung des Raumüberwachungsgerätes hinsichtlich seiner Einsatzmöglichkeit kann das Raumüberwachungsgerät mit einem Cityruf- bzw. Eurosignalempfänger gekoppelt werden.
