Ansetzen von Wandplatten od. dgl., bei welchen die Wandplatten mittels Gummisauger
am Setzrahmen gehalten werden, sind bekannt. Um ein besseres Festhalten der Platten
zu erreichen und gleichzeitig das bei dem Vorhandensein von Saugern notwendige Entlüften
der Sauger zu vermeiden, besteht das Wesen der Erfindung darin, daß in dem Setzrahmen
einerseits aus ihm nach hinten herausnehmbare Leisten vorgesehen sind, ,die mit
über ihre Bauhöhe hinausragenden, in die Plattenfugen zu liegen kommenden Klemmittel
zum Halten der Platten versehen sind, und andererseits um die Stärke der Wandplatten
in den Setzrahmen versenkbare Leisten angeordnet sind, welche in die quer zu den
genannten Plattenfugen verlaufenden Fugen zu liezen kommen. Die genannten Federn
sind zweckmäßig in U-Form ausgebildet, so daß sie beim Einsetzen der Kacheln in
den Setzrahmen auf diese einen horizontalen Druck ausüben, der durch an den Seiten
des Rahmens vorgesehene, .ebenfalls nach hinten versetzbare Leisten aufgenommen
wird. Dadurch erhalten die Platten eine horizontale Verspannung und können mit dem
Setzrahmen zusammen an Ort und Stelle transportiert werden. Nachdem der hintergossene
Mörtel abgebunden hat, können dann zunächst die mit den Federn versehenen Leisten
nach hinten aus dem Rahmen herausgezogen werden, wobei der Zug von den. auf den
Setzrahmenleisten aufliegenden Platten aufgenommen wird. iDanach werden die horizontalen
Fugenleisten und die beiden seitlich des Setzrahmens vorgesehenen Leisten nach hinten
versetzt, so daß

derart befestigt, daß ihre freien Federenden über die Leisten :hinausragen und die

und mit. dieser die oberen Enden der seitlichen Spannleisten 2a, 2b mittels der
an der Leiste 3a angelenkten Handhaben und danach auch die unten befindliche Fugenleiste
3b und die unteren Enden der Seitenleisten 2a, 2b nach hinten geschoben, so daß
sowohl die Leisten 3a, 3b als auch die Leisten 2a, 2b sich außerhalb des Bereichs
der Plattenränder befinden. Der Setzrahmen kann dann, ohne daß eine Beschädigung

Fugenleisten 3a, 3b, 3c durch einzelne nach hinten herausziehbare Federn od..dgl.
ersetzt sein. In jedem Fall lassen sich bis zu sieben Platten und mehr in einer
Reihe nebeneinander und bis zu fünf Reihen und mehr untereinander im Rahmen ja festspannen,
