Die bisher gebräuchlichen Schwanzriemen hatten den Zweck, das Schlagen und Bocken bösartiger Pferde dadurch zu verhindern, dafs das Pferd den Schwanz nicht zwischen die Beine ziehen konnte. Bei der vorliegenden Erfindung wird mit dem Schwanzriemen ein Zügel verbunden, vermöge dessen man den Schwanz noch höher heben kann. Dem Schwanzriemen ist an der Ausbauchung, auf die der Schwanz des Thieres zu liegen kommt und welches das Herabziehen desselben sowie auch das Schlagen mit dem Schwanz nach den Zügeln, wenn das Pferd im Geschirr ist, verhindert, ein Zügel angefügt, durch welchen die Ausbauchung noch mehr gehoben werden kann, wodurch die Schwanzmuskeln in die Höhe gezogen werden und es dem Pferd unmöglich gemacht wird, mit den Hinterfüfsen auszuschlagen.The previously used tail straps had the purpose of beating and bucking to prevent malignant horses by not putting the horse's tail between them Legs could pull.
