Die Neuerung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zur Befestigung von Geländerpfosten an den Begrenzungswangen von Regalbühnen oder dergleichen, wobei die Begrenzungswangen an einen aufrechten Schenkel und zumindest einen davon abstehenden, waagerechten Schenkel aufweisen.The innovation relates to a device for fastening railing posts to the boundary cheeks of shelving platforms or the like, wherein the boundary cheeks have an upright leg and at least one horizontal leg protruding therefrom.

Bekannt ist es, bei der Anbringung von Geländern an Regalbühnen oder dergleichen die Pfosten an ihrem unteren Ende mit einem Schlitz zu versehen, der ein Aufstecken auf den aufrechten Schenkel der Begrenzungswangen ermöglicht und daran anschließend eine Verschweißung des geschlitzten Pfostenabschnitts mit dem Schenkel entlang der Schlitzkanten zuläßt. sondern daß auch ihre Stabilität in vielen Fällen den daran zu stellenden Anforderungen nicht genügt. Diese Unzulänglichkeiten haben ihre Ursache einerseits darin, daß die in der Regel zur Bildung von Geländerpfosten in Benutzung genommenen Rohre nur eine relativ geringe Wandstärke, bspw. zwischen 2 und 3 mm, aufweisen und dann im längsgeschlitzten Bereich eine beträchtliche Schwächung erfahren, die einem Verformen und Abknicken Vorschub leistet. Zur Verminderung der durchzuführenden Schweißarbeiten wird der geschlitzte Endabschnitt der Geländerpfosten in der Regel nur relativ kurz ausgeführt, so daß eine Befestigung der Geländerpfosten am aufrechten Schenkel der Begrenzungswangen nur in dessen randnahem Bereich vorhanden ist. Der Vorteil dieser Befestigungsvorrichtung liegt nicht nur darin, daß das besondere Fußteil unabhängig von dem damit verbundenen bzw. zu verbindenden Geländerpfosten vorgefertigt und dabei hinsichtlich seiner Stabilität problemlos auf die jeweiligen Bedürfnisse abgestimmt werden kann. Vielmehr tritt durch die besondere Ausgestaltung dieses Fußteils auch noch eine Stabilisierung der Verbindung mit den Begrenzungswangen ein, weil nämlich das Fußteil nicht nur am aufrechten Schenkel der Begrenzungswangen verankert wird, sondern darüberhinaus auch noch ein Widerlager auf dem waagerechten Schenkel der Begrenzungswange erhält.The advantage of this fastening device is not only that the special foot part can be prefabricated independently of the railing post connected to it or to be connected and can therefore be easily adapted to the respective requirements in terms of stability. Die Abwinklung bzw. Stützbasis des Fußteils kann mit Ausnehmungen, &zgr;. &Bgr;. Löchern oder randoffenen Schlitzen, zur Aufnahme von Schraubenschäften versehen werden. Als wichtig für eine hohe Stabilität der Geländerbefestigung erweist es sich ferner, daß die gerade Gabelzinke des Fußteils eine größere Länge hat als die mit der Abwinkelung bzw. Stützbasis versehene Gabelzinke. Vorzugsweise ist sie solang ausgebildet, daß sie sich bei der Anbringung des Fußteils an einer Begrenzungswange über die gesamte Breite der letzteren erstreckt.
