"Automatic clamping device, especially for holding Christmas trees,"

Description:

Three bars are cast into a specially manufactured aluminum pot, which is manufactured using the DruvA casting process. Each bar is offset by 120 degrees in the circle of the aluminum pot, and runs in an inclined plane with an angle of 25 degrees from the upper edge of the pot to the bottom of the pot. The bars are also provided with grooves that allow the clamping wedges to slide up and down. This star-shaped arrangement enables Christmas trees to be individually and automatically adjusted by vertical forces depending on the size and weight of the tree. This means that the clamping behavior is always consistent.

The operating principle is described as follows in the drawings in Figures 1-4.

Guide bolt (3), the compression spring (5) in partial load, so that

the 3 clamping elements (i) and parts (?> uM (2) are just about held in the uppermost position.

This allows the selected constant of the compression spring (5).

In this position the device is in rest position.

Also visible is the web (6) with the guide groove (7) and the AL pot (4) in section.

The components of Fig. (4) show the device in the fully loaded position and for trees with the smallest diameter, which allows a trunk diameter of at least 30 mm - maximum diameter 95 mm clamping possibility.

Advantages:

According to the state of the art as far as I am aware.

1) High safety due to self-regulating mechanical clamping behavior, the larger the tree, the higher the weight, and thus the increased clamping force of the device.

2) Reduce the risk of fire in Wnhmjnnon.

Cause millions of dollars in damage every year. Due to improper and poor quality features of conventional designs.

3) Guaranteed no change in the position of the tree, this often unnoticed position and inclination changes are the main cause of trees suddenly falling over and thus causing fire.

4) Children also pose no danger, as the tree can only change its position by lifting it.

5) The tree can be set up quickly and effortlessly, as no processing of the trunk is necessary. The device can be easily operated by anyone.

6) Long service life, as all components are made of cast aluminum.

7) The alignment of the tree can be accomplished by lifting the boom several times.

Disadvantages :

The commercially available flax species.

1) Pressed and punched parts too unstable. No firmly integrated brackets, which are usually only insufficiently secured and attached to the edge of the pot. Wing screws that do not offer sufficient gripping surface for the fingers - rusted, thread defective or bent.

2) Often long preparations are required for working on the tree, sharpening the trunk and fitting it in place. Usually no suitable tools are available for work on site, and therefore there is an increased risk of accidents.

3) At least two people are needed to align and tighten the tree.

4) According to the manufacturer's instructions for devices of standard designs, the pot insert must be removed and the central spike for holding the tree must be driven into the trunk using a hammer. According to previous experience, 80% of users do not do this or do it incompletely, which poses a high risk of accidents.
