Anschließend sollen d'ie Lichtbogenfußpunkte in fel.dfreieRäume
The invention relates to an electrical circuit breaker, in particular
a switch with arc quenching by a flowing pressure medium such as compressed gas,
with a fixed nozzle contact and a pin-shaped 'movable contact. It lies
their .the task is based on such a switch, the contact points during the interruption process
to free the arc quickly and @ thereby to keep it cold so that the extinction
is made much easier. Then the arc roots should be in free spaces

to avoid and thereby the risk of. To reduce re-ignition. With switches
with two pin-shaped contacts it is known to use the two pins as a gas vent
to form hollow, so that here both arcing points are drawn into the hollow contacts
and thus get into field-free spaces. In the one on which the invention is based

before that, firstly, the pin-shaped movable contact is designed as a hollow gas vent
and that, secondly, the nozzle contact with a likewise hollow gas vent
Pin-shaped auxiliary electrode for centering the arc in the nozzle

Switches of a different type to achieve a known effect. Auxiliary electrodes for centering
of the arc are known per se in switches with nozzle contacts. It is also
known in a switch in which a resistor via such an auxiliary electrode
is switched on to form the auxiliary electrode as a hollow pin. However .this
Switch a full pin as; movable switching contact, and the arc base points
should not be withdrawn from the electric field.
