Description State of the art

So-called clip folders or clip hand folders are used to fix sets of sheets and individual sheets, primarily in DIN A4 format, without punching holes (e.g. from the company ba. Wuppertal, article numbers 36450 and 36477, from the company Hetze 1. Rudersberg-Steinenberg, article "KwikClip", or from the company Hunke und Jochheim GmbH u. Co. KG, Iserlohn, article "Duraclip").

What all of these folders have in common is that the fixing, i.e. holding the sheets in place in the folder, avoiding the need for edge punching - which is usually required for folders and loose-leaf binders - is done mechanically using movable clamps or staples on the folder fold (fold). The clamp or staple is made of springy plastic or springy wire.

The spring force of these clamps or clips means that the sheets or individual sheets are clamped to the fold of the folder, i.e. fixed and held in place by friction.

Another species very similar to the subject matter of the application

The most common way of fixing sheets of paper is by using the adhesive force of magnets. This method is known, for example, for overview and notice boards (occupancy overviews, timetables, appointment planning, etc.).

The surface of these boards is usually covered with a thin iron-containing layer so that magnets can stick to it. Using the adhesive force of the magnets, sheets of paper and notes are attached to the surface (adhesive fixation).

The company MagnaC GmbH, Wendungen is known for the production of such magnetic boards for attaching notes using magnets. The company mentioned is also said to have, as the applicant was informed by a representative of the above-mentioned Hetzel company, produced clipboards for DIN A4 sheets of paper as promotional gifts, which are said to be similar to the subject of the application. Careful research in this regard directly at the above-mentioned company MagnaC GsnbH., however, revealed that no article of this type was manufactured there (see the enclosed research correspondence; in addition, the declaration of inventor protection between the applicant and the Hetzel + Co. company).

Task

"\ The invention specified in claim 1 has the task of facilitating the processing of individual worksheets (writing sheets, calculation sheets, - primarily in DIN A4 format -) especially in the area of primary schools, and there especially for young primary school students. Such worksheets are often provided to primary school students as reprints or copies.

The invention specified in claim 1 makes work easier when processing such worksheets in two ways. Firstly, these worksheets are fixed in place using magnetic adhesive force so that they cannot move and are largely crease-proof. This is done using a flap with a magnetic strip attached to the inside.

This is magnetically bonded to a ferrous counter strip and in this way fixes a worksheet in place. The ferrous strip is also placed on a base that is at least the size of a worksheet. This base also serves as a writing surface to make it easier to work on the sheets.

The flap is pivotably connected to the writing surface by means of a fold.

Advantages

The invention according to claim 1 ensures that younger primary school pupils in particular can fix individual worksheets for processing (labelling) with the help of the magnetic flap in a very simple and easy way, in a way that is easy to move and largely crease-proof and allows for correct writing (i.e. also suitable for left-handed people). This advantage is particularly enhanced if the sheets are magnetically fixed on their long side instead of the short side. Another advantage is the use of the lower part of the magnetic clamping device as a writing surface.

Description of the invention

An embodiment of the invention is explained using Figs. 1 to 3 of the attached drawings. They show:

The writing pad with magnetic single sheet fixation consists of the writing pad 1, to which a narrow flap 2 (width at least 15 millimeters) is pivotably connected on its long left side by means of a fold 6. The pad (writing pad) usually has a standard size of the uncut α series of paper sizes (here the format DIN A4 uncut) to accommodate corresponding DIN A... sheets. It is preferably made of flexible thin material (cardboard, plastic). For certain tasks, harder material may also be more suitable (cardboard, hard plastic) .

The edge 7 of the flap 2 is reinforced in the case of flexible, thin material by an edge strip 8 that is folded inwards, approximately 3 to 5 millimeters wide and glued to the inside of the flap 2 (reinforcement strip). This allows the flap 2 to be lifted more safely and easily with the thumb or fingers; the edge reinforcement 8 therefore makes the flap 2 easier to grip and more stable.

On the inside of the flap 2, directly adjacent to the inner edge of the reinforcement strip 8, a suitable magnetic strip 4 (at least 10 millimeters wide, at least 1 millimeter thick, the same length as the flap or at most 20 millimeters shorter than it) made of flexible soft plastic with enclosed magnetic particles (semi-finished product) is glued.

When the flap 2 is closed, there is a flexible strip 5 made of ferrous material glued to the writing surface 1, exactly opposite the magnetic strip 4, of the same length as the magnetic strip 4, but at least 2 millimeters wider than it, and with a thickness of 1/10 millimeter (without adhesive pad) up to 1.5 millimeters (with adhesive pad). However, a second flexible magnetic strip of the same size can be used in place of the strip, even if it has the same function.

Claims (6)

Writing pad with magnetic single sheet fixation 1. Writing pad with magnetic single sheet fixation, consisting of a rectangular pad (1) made of cardboard, paperboard or plastic, characterized, that on the long side of the base (1) a flap (2) of the same material as the base and of the same length as the long side of the base (1) and at least 15 millimeters wide is pivotably attached by means of a fold (6), and that a flexible magnetic strip (4) which consists of soft plastic with enclosed magnetic particles (semi-finished product) and which is at least 1 millimeter thick, at least 10 millimeters wide and exactly as long as the flap (2), but at most up to 20 millimeters shorter than this, is attached to the inside of this flap (2), and that a flexible ferrous strip (5) of at least 12 millimeters wide, at least 1/10 millimeter thick and of the same length as the magnetic strip is attached to the base (1) in such a way that when the flap (2) is pivoted its magnet— strip (4) is precisely pivoted onto the ferrous strip (5) of the base (1) and is aligned with this strip (5). 2.
