Description
B.. Polyamiden, für das Bandspinnverfahren.Spinning head for spinning artificial threads using the bar melting process made of high polymer materials The invention relates to a spinning head for spinning artificial threads made of high-melting, especially high-polymer plastics, z. B. Polyamides, for the tape spinning process.
In the case of the spinning heads known so far, the high-melting polymerisation product in rod form either inserted into a sealed melting device, at the end melted and. spun through spinnerets or in one above the melting point of the rod to be liquefied also heated hollow body with a funnel-shaped cavity pressed in, whereby the rod moves through contact with the hot inner wall of the hollow body liquefied and the melt can be fed to the spinnerets; or that high melting point polymerization product was filled into a device which in all its parts a smooth, cylindrical, closed, thermally technical carefully formed metal block. With regard to the need that in the unit of time always exactly the same; large amounts of material in the spinning head are promoted, material rods with a circular cross-section are preferred, because this cross-sectional shape is the safest way to produce a true-to-caliber. the The melting points of the high polymers are usually so high that they vei.len with prolonged use of the substance in the molten state easily decomposes with dark coloration of the pale, deterioration in spinnability and reduction in the degree of polymerization enter. However, with the known methods, one takes place in a short time Liquefaction of the: rod not guaranteed. The spinning head must necessarily a configuration, experienced, through which the amount of heat necessary for the d, - n melting process in Can be transferred in a very short time so that the fed rod is completely melted will. Care must also be taken that temperature differences within the melt be eliminated as quickly as possible.
According to the invention, the spinning head is designed so that both rapid and thorough melting of the polymerization product as well as in the shortest Compensation of the temperature differences that exist in the melt is necessary over time he follows. The spinning head according to the invention represents a hollow body consisting of an entry channel that exactly matches the dimensions of the fusible rod to be introduced and which has an onion-like broadening: experiences, in such a way, that the passage cross section of the round entry channel when it is widened into an ellipse or into a. Rectangle with the same area passes over. This broadening undergoes a significant tapering before entering the nozzle vestibule and! Go then into the more spacious nozzle area.
According to the invention, the fusible rod manufactured in a known manner passes through first of all the heated inlet channel, which can also be referred to as the heating zone. On the way through the heating zone, the heat transfer from the edge of the is softened Stabes d'urc'h, the already melted or plasticized mass through to the still rigid core however getting worse. The still imperfectly melted stick Under these conditions it becomes the onion-like broadened, but elliptical one or a rectangular melting zone with the same cross-section. At this The special design of the spinning head takes effect. Due to the change in cross section of the ceiling space, in which the opposing heating surfaces are getting closer and closer come together, namely causes the already softened edge layer of the rod is pushed to the side, whereby the even colder and firmer core is directly attached to the Reaches the heating surface. The heat can be applied much faster to the not yet softened Material are transferred because the heat build-up: the poorly conductive, already softened Edge layer falls away. In addition to the temperature differences in the melt to be eliminated quickly, experiences the previously unchanged flow velocity the melt at its transition from the melt zone, which is tapered here, into the nozzle vestibule, which in turn has a sudden expansion, a considerable one Acceleration, whereby the liquefied or softened material is strongly swirled through and thus a completely uniform melt temperature is achieved. That melted, uniformly tempered and with exactly the same conveying speed Material injected into the antechamber of the spinneret is usually in front of the nozzle plate still pressed through a filter.
The drawing shows an example of an embodiment of the spinning head.
The fusible rod is pulled into the inlet channel by a pull-off device r pressed: which consists of a tube having the same cross-sectional dimensions as the introduced staff. owns. The one preheated in this pipe, partly already on The rod, softened on the outer edge, passes from there into the melting zone 2, which is located in the onion-like widening of the hollow body and the one: elliptical Cross-section. The melting zone is tapered at its lower end to a fraction of the dimensions of the inlet channel and goes into the nozzle space 3 above. The melt swirls through the pressure of the rod that pushes it through a filter q. and pressed through the nozzle plate 5. The resulting threads 6 are high Speed deducted. The spinning pigtail including the nozzle area is from a heating jacket 7 included. The heating medium enters at 8 and exits at 9.
