TITLE: PITCH RAKE REMOVER

1. State of the art

The invention relates to golf in the broadest sense. When playing golf, the golf ball must ultimately be hit onto the "green" (the very well-maintained final part of the golf course) using a suitable putter, in order to then hole it using a "putter" (a club used only to bounce the ball onto the green) at the spot on the green marked by a flag. (

If the ball hits the green, it leaves an impact mark (damage to the surface of the green) which is referred to as "pitch marks". The player is obliged to remove this pitch mark and repair the damage. To do this, he uses the pitch fork, a 2 mm thick, fork-shaped device which he always carries with him (see ApX 3, Fig. 1, No. 2). The pitch fork can be purchased in the golf pro shop or in a sports shop.

At the same time, when the player moves on the green, he has the putter (see App. 3, Fig. 1, No. 1) in his hand in order to ultimately hole the ball.

2. Lack of technology

Because removing the pitch mark (damage to the green) is a bit of a hassle - you have to bend down and carefully repair the impact point with a relatively small gaofel - this activity is only poorly perceived, much to the annoyance of those responsible for the course and ultimately the players themselves. Older people in particular actually find it difficult to carry out this activity while crouching or bending over for a few seconds.

3. Purpose of the invention and solution of the problem

The purpose of the invention is to make this task easier for the player and to come closer to the qualitative requirements for a perfectly maintained green.

The solution to the problem is to be achieved with an improved device, whereby the putter (see Appendix 3, Fig. 1, No. 1) and the pitch fork (β. Appendix 3, Fig. 2, No. 2) are modified and used in combination as a maintenance tool (see Appendix 3, Fig. 3, No. 1 and 2).

4. Explanation of the details

The putter consists of a club head, shaft and grip and is part of every golfer’s equipment.

The handle is cut free at the front with a sharp knife so that the inside of the handle is visible (see Appendix 3, Fig. 2, Nos. 1 and 3). This enables the pitch mark remover (PE for short) to be inserted. Alternatively, a 6-piece prefabricated with a hole is conceivable.

The player carries the PE (see Appendix 3, Fig. 2, No. 2) with him. When entering the green, it is inserted into the putter handle.

The putter with mounted PE (see Appendix 3, Fig. 3 and 4, No. 1 and ?.) is now held on the club head and used as an aid for repairing damage on the green.

The PE is designed in such a way that it can be easily adjusted to the inside of the putter shaft to ensure a good fit and easy assembly and disassembly.

5. Benefits achieved

a. No need to bend down (a big advantage especially for older people)

b. The task of keeping the green in optimal condition is made easier for the players.

c. A player may repair damage other than that caused by his own ball during the time he is on the putting green.
