Description
The invention is based on the object; a broadband omnidirectional antenna for VHF operation (radio, television) to create a mechanically simple Has structure. This object is achieved by an antenna, which is characterized by is that four semi-radiators held in metal in their center or in the vicinity of the same form a horizontally lying square surrounding a supporting mast, and each two neighboring half-emitters as full-wave dipoles at their facing one another Ends are powered.
In Figs. I and 2 is an embodiment of the invention Omnidirectional antenna in different. Views presented. As a supporting one The mast is a square lattice mast i, at its corner points: the semi-radiators 2, 2 ', 3, 3' in a horizontal line and the half radiators 4,4 'and 5, 5' in one parallel horizontals are held in metal. For this purpose, struts, z. B. 6, 6 ', 7, 7' etc. used in the direction of the diagonal of the lattice mast cross-section are attached. The two squares formed from the half radiators are on top of each other, preferably at a distance of o, 6oi to i 2., arranged. Two superimposed Half-radiators are connected in parallel with the feed lines (io; io '; ii, 1i'; 12, i2 '; 13, i3 ') connected. The feed lines are on two between two radiator squares parallel wire lines also lying horizontally, shielded by the pipe 14 connected, which via a symmetry device 15 with the not shown Feed cables are connected. It can be seen that the mechanical structure of this Omnidirectional antenna is particularly simple because the half radiator is made by simple struts placed on the corner points of a possibly already existing lattice mast can be. The antenna can be climbed from inside or outside. she adapts to the shape of the mast, and it can, if necessary, in a simple manner heating must be provided. On the mast i can above. of the invention Omnidirectional antenna still another antenna can be put on, what for combined VHF radio and television antennas are often desirable.
