Verfahren zum Behandeln von postfrischen Briefmarken für Sammlerzwecke
In dem Patent 881 637 ist ein Verfahren zur Behandlung postfrischer Briefmarken
für Sammlerzwecke beschrieben, bei welchen jeweils nur die gummierte Rückseite der
Briefmarken mit einem elastischen, klar durchsichtigen, hauchdünnen und völlig gleichmäßigen
cellulosehaltigen Überzug versehen wird. Die hier vorgeschlagene Behandlungsweise
hat gegenüber den Maßnahmen nach dem Patent 881 672 den Vorteil, daß durch sie die
für Sammlerzwecke besonders wertvolle postfrische Gummierung der Rückseite ohne
schädliche Folgen für die Gummierung, Farbe und das Papier der Briefmarke, insbesondere
vor der Einwirkung der Luftfeuchtigkeit, geschützt wird, im Gegensatz zu einer anderen
bereits bekanntgewordenen Behandlungsweise von Briefmarken mit Zaponlack, bei der
das postfrische Aussehen der Bildseite der Briefmarken durch den Zaponlack verändert
und der Lack nur mit Lösungsmitteln entfernt werden kann, die in den meisten Fällen
die Farbe des Markenbildes auflösen und das Bild verwischen. Das geschieht meistens
sogar schon beim Aufbringen von Zaponlaclc in flüssiger Form, wodurch die Marken

aufkleben und wieder ablösen, ohne daß die ursprüngliche Gummierung der Marke irgendwie
