Description
Device for the automatic regulation of the frequency The invention refers to a device for the automatic regulation of the * frequency of a Oscillation to a target value by means of one of the frequency and / or phase, enab, deviation corresponding control voltage. The setpoint of the frequency can either be through the of a discriminator or by the frequency of a single oscillator generated: Vibration must be fixed. In the latter case, the two oscillations are in a Phasendiskrimina.tor (heterodyne discriminator) compared with each other. then If there is a frequency deviation, the control voltage is an alternating voltage, its frequency is equal to the difference frequency. The readjustment of the .. frequency to be controlled, the z. B. happens in a known way with a blind tube, causes the Frequency difference is zero. There is then only one more phase difference Besteben that the DC voltage required to achieve the equilibrium of the regulation generated. When such frequency regulations are applied to the receiver, the discriminator matched to the target intermediate frequency, or an oscillator is provided, which oscillates at the target intermediate frequency. Such regulations, however, are also z. B .. applicable to transmitters.
It is known to hold the control voltage in the event of a temporary absence of oscillation by switching a resistor Ko, n: densato, r-Gli.e, d with a large time constant in the control line (Patent 669 504). When receiving an oscillation, the amplitude of this oscillation falls below one. A certain value sor responds to a relay, which interrupts the control line, so that: ß the capacitor of the mentioned time constant element maintains the control voltage. On the other hand, the green, ß "- # time l <constant-e has the disadvantage that no rapid regulation is possible. In the case of frequency regulation with a comparison of two oscillations, such a time constant element cannot be used at all in the known manner because the regulating voltage, such as In other words, if there is a frequency deviation, there is an alternating voltage.
The invention eliminates these disadvantages in that the resistor: capacitor member in a branch of the control line, over which the rapidly changing Control voltage is performed, and: that .that the capacitor of the mentioned element, slowly changing control voltage is applied to a separating tube and the output voltage: voltage is connected in series with the rapidly changing control voltage.
Further improvements to the invention are provided in the following Description of the figures given as examples.
Fig-. i first explains the main idea of the above mentioned Invention. D 'denotes a phase discriminator, r, to which the two oscillations f1 and f2 are supplied, one of which has the setpoint frequency. The one from this one Discriminato, r supplied control voltage is directly to the line i Blind tube B performed, which is the natural frequency of an oscillator, the z. B. for generation the oscillation f1 is used, controls. In junction 2: is the time constant member, consisting of the resistor R and the capacitor C. About, this link! can only a slowly changing control voltage can be transmitted while the line is running i also transmits rapid changes in the control voltage. Learn capacitor C follows the separation tube T; in the cathode line is a resistor W on which the slowly changing control voltage appears in such a sense of direction that it has the same direction as the control voltage transmitted via line i. Of the Resistor W is bridged by a capacitor K so that there is no voltage loss occurs for the rapidly changing control voltage. The one lying at the resistor W, The slowly changing control voltage is in series with the rapidly changing one Regulated @ oil, so sat both, at the dummy tube B are effective. The separation tube T can also be used to amplify the slowly changing control voltage will.
In AbL 2 the parts that are already in Abib ,. i occurred with the the same reference numerals. The rule in this case is one Voltage divider 3 switched because an intermediate frequency amplifier is used high selectivity the group delay in this amplifier easily becomes so high when the full control voltage is used, control oscillations can occur. The purpose of the circuit in Fig. 2 is, even in the case of a longer absence of the Vibration to maintain the balance of the scheme. Otherwise: it can happen that the intermediate frequency falls out of the capture range, the smaller one is a, ls; the drag area. If the receiving voltage drops below a certain value Value, the relay 4 responds, which z. B, in the anode circuit of a shrinkage controlled Tube lies, and learns switch 5 to the bottom. This gives the grid the Isolation tube T is the DC voltage that was present before the relay responded. This voltage is namely from the voltage present at the resistor W by means of the tube 6 won "which is used to achieve a voltage in the correct direction.
The tubes 7 and 8 are only intended for the purpose :, voltage fluctuations: to make the anode voltage source ineffective. These tubes 7 and 8 will not controlled and should be as similar as possible to the tube T or 6.
The circuit according to Ahb. 2 contains further switching elements that aim to amplify control voltages with an average rate of change to take effect when the rapidly changing control voltage is only one small frequency deviation, causes. At a certain value of the control voltage speaks namely the relay 9 and closes the: switch OK, so sat, the control voltage via the resistance i i, which is much smaller than the resistance R, to the Treinnröbre T arrives. The increased control voltage in this separating tube T causes medium-speed; Regulate: oil voltage changes have a large frequency deviation.
The resistances on the anode leads of tubes T, 6, 7 and 8 are used. Incidentally, only for the linearization of the tube characteristics. DieKath.o, d'ern resistances generate the negative grid bias in a known manner and are expedient made adjustable.
In order to also be able to adjust large frequency deviations; which lie outside the control range, it is known to activate a search device in the event of a large frequency deviation. Dependent 3 shows the farm in which this search device can be used in the circuit according to the invention. It is assumed that the oscillation to be controlled is to be compared with an oscillation generated in the oscillator. In the event of a frequency deviation, the control voltage is then, as mentioned, an alternating voltage which is fed to the tube 15 via the line 12 and the filter element 13 :, 14 to suppress low frequencies. A DC voltage is obtained by means of the rectifier 16 and feeds the relay 17. The relay 17 responds as soon as the line 12 carries a high frequency, and closes the switch 18. As a result, the multivibrator M is in operation, set, which alternates via the relay rg serving switch 2o, which is in a central position in rest to the right and left switching contact and 'd'ad'urch alternately' puts a positive and negative high tension on the grid of the separating tube T. As a result, a correspondingly high control voltage occurs at the resistor W , which causes a large frequency deviation.
