Die bis jetzt im Gebrauch befindlichen Mentholstifte werden in zwei nach unten zugespitzten geschlossenen Röhrchen in den Handel gebracht, von denen eine das aus dem anderen hervorragende Stück Menthol bedeckt. Der Behälter besteht im wesentlichen aus zwei vollständig gleichen Theilen 1 und 2, welche auf der Rückseite mittelst eines Gelenkes 3 verbunden sind.
