Description

Gegenstand des Patents 867 556 ist ein Staubdichtungsring aus Holz od. dgl., welcher sich dadurch auszeichnet, daß er in einer Schutzkappe aus Metall untergebracht ist, welche auf der Außenseite mit Federn versehen ist, mittels deren sie sich gegen die äußere Staubkammerwand abstützt. Dadurch. wird der Holzring gegen die Innenwand angedrückt. Bei dieser Anordnung besteht die Möglichkeit, daß infolge der Auf- und Abwärtsbewegungen des Achsschenkels die Federn an der rauben Wand der Staubkammer entliangrutschen, was zu Störungen führen kann, weil die Staubkammerwandungen nicht bearbeitet sind und Unebenheiten aufweisen, welche sich bei der Bewegung der Achse in der Querrichtung noch schlimmer auf die Federn auswirken. Diese Querbewegungen sind zwar nicht so groß! wie die in lotrechter Richtung; sie sind aber meistens noch mit einem Springen der Achse verbunden.
